                                          AWAKEN
                                          ACT I

         1     INT DECAYED APARTMENT NIGHT                              1

               A crackling fire is heard over crickets, bullfrogs and wind
               rustling through leaves. We see a glowing spark from a fire
               shooting up breaking up the black void. Sparks fly up across
               the screen followed by another and another.

                                   LILITH
                          Come Seven, come this way… I'm here
                          now.

               Drumming Starts faintly growing stronger. We zoom out from
               the sparks to see that they are from a fire in a soup can.
               An OLD LADY is seen in the dark. The walls are stained and
               peeling. The air is very wet and visible. The old lady is
               searching her pockets. In her pocket she has a wrapped up
               paper towel. Inside the paper towel is a plastic bag with a
               piece of Aluminum foil in it. Inside the foil is a small
               piece of turkey. She rips off a piece and goes to put it in
               her coat. In her pocket, is a little kitten. She proceeds to
               feed the cat and then herself. As she is chewing she looks
               down at the cat. She then turns her attention to the camera
               as if a person appeared. The OLD LADY extends her arms and
               her face flashes to the face of LILITH, a beautiful pale
               skinned, dark haired woman.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                         Remember... only I love you.

               The cat jumps out of her pocket and on to the floor. It scans
               the room slowly. The apartment consists of a number of old
               rooms across one level. An old fan, mattresses on the floor,
               and a radio are the only furniture. A woman's scream is heard
               consistently. Slowly continuing into the other room ANTON, a
               young man in his late twenties with yellow/white hair, comes
               crashing to the floor. Dust flies from the ground. 

               We jump back and circle around to see GABRIEL, a middle aged
               tall lanky dark skinned man with corn rows, as he runs off
               past ANTON lying on the ground.

                                   ANTON
                          I can't stay here with you Seven.
                          Wake me up. I have to save her.

               The screams begin to pick up stronger and the camera turns
               towards them.

                                   SEVEN (V.O.)
                         No it's too dangerous.

               MARIA a 16 year old girl is screaming from birth pains. Light
               illuminates the room with the sound of heartbeats.

               A heartbeat plays over the scene growing faster as the scene
               continues. Close up on Maria's face sweating and screaming.
               She pulls her hands from her lap and they are covered in
               blood. A young broken, woman, YVETTE is lying on the ground
               with needles sticking out of her arm. She looks up from her
               little universe, looking as if she will help if she could.

                                   YVETTE
                          Do you know who I am? Do you know
                          please tell me.

                                   ANTON
                          We have to leave here! I wasn't
                          here.

                                   SEVEN
                          Please.

               ANTON gives up and lowers his head. The lights go out.

                                   MARIA
                          I can't! I can't do it anymore!
                          (She pauses and says softly)
                          I can't.

               We see her feet. They are covered in blood. MARIA is
               exhausted but when she looks up she smiles. ANTON is
               standing over her. His face is illuminated and kind. She
               looks over at him, exhaustion in her eyes. Anton grabs
               Maria's hand and smiles at her. She feels comfort and the
               will to continue. She screams. Maria screams, and with all
               her life pushes and collapses. In slow motion her head falls
               to the mattress. We see her crying but don't hear a sound.
               Then a baby's cry. Maria opens her eyes and begins to smile. 
               ANTON, YVETTE and LILITH are standing around SEVEN, a young
               man in his mid twenties with long dreads. She looks down
               towards her baby.

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          My love...my Seven.

               Maria looks up and out of the room. She sees a tall lanky
               figure in black, standing in the first room of the
               apartment. It turns slowly and looks at her. Its movements
               are smooth but not natural. It extends it's long fingers. 

                                   SHADOW
                         Give him to me...Now!

               With that the figure moves directly through the rooms and
               towards the screen quickly.

         2     EXT. APT .DAY                                            2

               People are unloading a moving truck and carrying paintings
               into a renovated warehouse. ANTON is looking down through a
               window at his paintings. His hair is dyed black.

         3     INT. APT.                                                3

               YVETTE, ANTON'S musician girlfriend is unpacking a box.

                                   YVETTE
                         Don't worry they'll take care of
                         them.

                                   ANTON
                         They're carrying them like sacks of
                         potatoes.

                                   YVETTE
                         Tell em how precious they are.

                                   ANTON
                         Then they'd just steal them.

               YVETTE is looking around the room.

                                   YVETTE
                          You think that would be a good
                          place for my recording equipment?

                                   ANTON
                          I was hoping to make that area my
                          studio.
                          The light will help a lot.

                                   YVETTE
                          Yeah, it would be good for you.
                          What about over here?

                                   ANTON
                         I'd rather this area.

                                   YVETTE
                         No, I mean for me.

               ANTON looks at one of the paintings they brought up.

                                   ANTON
                         Oh, yeah that would be great.

                                   YVETTE
                         I don't understand why you picked
                         this place anyway. Philip is paying
                         you butt loads of money. We could
                         have moved into a nice neighborhood.

                                   ANTON
                         I don't want to be one of those
                         snobby artists who moves uptown and
                         then can't afford the rent.

                                   YVETTE
                         We could have found a nicer part of
                         Brooklyn.

                                   ANTON
                         This place called to me.

               ANTON unwraps the painting to see SEVEN'S face and SHADOW.

                                   YVETTE
                         We got a show tonight.

               ANTON is looking at his work. He slightly turns his eye to
               YVETTE, but then makes believe he didn't hear her.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         I was wondering if you wanted to
                         come.

                                   ANTON
                         One of us has to get some work done
                         or we'll be homeless.

                                   YVETTE
                         Yeah, sure forget it.

               YVETTE continues to look through boxes as ANTON looks out the
               window. ANTON sees himself and SEVEN, in his painting walking
               on a road.

         4     EXT DREAMWORLD                                           4

               SEVEN and ANTON are walking down a long narrow road with
               fences on either side.

                                   SEVEN
                         I slept with Lilith.

                                   ANTON
                         She's in your dreams?

                                   SEVEN
                         In real life.

               Behind each fence are sand dunes with sparse vegetation. On
               the horizon all we can see is big sky. Peaks of cities begin
               to rise in the distance.

                                   ANTON
                         You were awake?

                                   SEVEN
                         Yes.

                                  ANTON
                         How?

                                   SEVEN
                         She's in a new body.

                                   ANTON
                         A new body? Whose?

               Behind the city, mountains stretch towards the sky. On each
               side of the fence, LILITH and YVETTE'S faces fade in. SEVEN
               and ANTON walk down the road.

                                   SEVEN
                         Well...that's what I wanted to talk
                         to you about.

                                   ANTON
                         Why?

                                   SEVEN
                         She was in YVETTE.

                                   ANTON
                         My YVETTE?

                                   SEVEN
                         I think so, listen, Yvette's in
                         serious trouble.

               They get to the end of the road, and begin climbing up one of
               the dunes. Anton looks confused.

                                   ANTON
                         Wait, you slept with my girlfriend!

                                   SEVEN
                         Listen Anton, If we don't find her
                         soon…

                                   ANTON
                         You slept with YVETTE!

                                   SEVEN
                         No, I slept with Lilith.

                                   ANTON
                         While she was in YVETTE's
                         body.

                                   SEVEN
                         That's not important now.

               Superimposed over the sky are moving shots of LILITH and
               YVETTE'S body fading in and out.

                                   ANTON
                         What do you mean it's not
                         Important now.

                                   SEVEN
                         You won't even remember this when
                         you wake up.

                                   ANTON
                         You bet I will, then I'm gonna find
                         you and kick your ass.

               ANTON swings at SEVEN. As ANTON swings, the environment
               around him shifts and changes tones. SEVEN seems to move
               backwards and then disappears. ANTON regains his balance.
               SEVEN is on a hill across from him.

                CLOSE UP on SEVEN watching from across the way. SEVEN
                appears next to ANTON.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         You won't wake me up in the real
                         world, but you sleep with my
                         girlfriend.

                                   SEVEN
                         You should be more worried about how
                         many times you slept with Lilith!
                         Besides, I didn't know she was your
                         girlfriend.

                                   ANTON
                         What Yvette just randomly found
                         you?

                                   SEVEN
                         No, Lilith found me.

               He pauses for a moment. The background turns black. Then into
               a dessert. 

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         I didn't even know it was Lilith.
                         Until…

                                   ANTON
                         You fucked my girlfriend.

                                   SEVEN
                         If you don't find Yvette soon, she
                         will be lost forever to Lilith.

               The two climb a sand dune. 

                                   ANTON
                         What do you mean she will be lost
                         forever.

                                         SEVEN
                         Lilith said Yvette was dying. She was
                         lying in the street with a needle in
                         her vein.

               The words hurt ANTON. Syringes appear in the sky above them.

                                   ANTON
                         So she helped her along.

                                   SEVEN
                         No, Yvette's lost out there…
                         somewhere.

                                   ANTON
                         You have to wake me in the real
                         world, so I can save YVETTE.

                                   SEVEN
                         No.

                                   ANTON
                         You have to. We are her only chance.

                                   SEVEN
                         Even if I do and you get Lilith
                         out, YVETTE still will be lost out
                         there.

                                   ANTON
                         Then you have to show me where she
                         is.

                                   SEVEN
                         I can't do that.

                                   ANTON
                         Of coarse you can! You move freely
                         here!

                                   SEVEN
                         I can't.

                                   ANTON
                         You won't! You're afraid to leave
                         here again. This isn't real! It's an
                         illusion.

                                   SEVEN
                         This is real, as real as anything
                         else Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         I'm sick of this shit. You don't care
                         if I loose Yvette because you don't
                         want to loose Lilith.

                                   SEVEN
                         We will fall thru other people's
                         dreams. Every time losing more
                         control over the environment. Slowly
                         we'll start to leave parts of
                         ourselves with these people, not
                         enough for them to remember us, but
                         enough to not be whole. After a few
                         more dreams, we will have no idea who
                         we were. We will become shadows in
                         other people's minds.

                                   ANTON
                         I know, that's why we have to find
                         Yvette before it happens to her.

                                   SEVEN
                         What if she is already gone?

                                   ANTON
                         What if she's not. Please, Seven,
                         Please. Between both of us we could
                         find her.

                SEVEN looks away.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         I wouldn't remember who I am or
                         where I've looked, with out you.
                         I'll be a shadow in no time.

                                   SEVEN
                         Out there we are in everyone's,
                         Anyone's dreams. You can see
                         anything. Anything could happen.

                                   ANTON
                         They're dreams, that can't hurt us.

                                   SEVEN
                         Dreams are already in our mind. What
                         could hurt more?

                                   ANTON
                         We're asleep man! Nothing can happen
                         to us.

                                   SEVEN
                         If some one wakes up and we are
                         caught in a dream, when the dream
                         ends we will also cease to exist.

                                   ANTON
                         Until we wake up.

                                   SEVEN
                         No. We cease to exist.

               They walk towards a door that appears for ANTON.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         I'm Waking up. You should go back
                         before you find out first hand what
                         happens when a dream ends.

                ANTON walks though the door.

                                   ANTON
                          Please wake me in the real world.

         5     INT BAR/CLUB DIVE. 10:27 PM                              5

               YVETTE is on stage performing with her band. They are playing
               to an aggressive rock crowd.

                                   YVETTE
                          Despite myself this pain is yours.
                          	
                          Without your gaze I must endure.
                          To walk this land of forgotten
                          dreams.

                          I'd played my part let no one know.

                                   CROWD MEMBER 1

               YVETTE looks down and sings the next verse to him.

                                   YVETTE
                          Now and then I see a grin.
                          The clouds have passed the sun sets
                          in.
                          I prayed so long to have them go.
                          But then you can't come to my show!

                YVETTE kicks CROWD MEMBER 2 in the face on beat.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Suck me asshole!

               A commotion breaks out the guy tries to grab at YVETTE but
               the bouncers grab him. He spits blood at YVETTE giving her a
               reason to punch him in the face again. He passes out.

                                         CROWD MEMBER 1
                          Great show!

               YVETTE looks at him meanly, then changes over.

                                   YVETTE
                         Thanks kid.

         6     INT. BACK STAGE. NIGHT                                   6

               YVETTE is shooting up heroin in a booth in the back of the
               club with her band mates. The club is filled with scanky
               people. She lets her head slowly fall back and begins to
               rush. The room goes out of focus and then starts to spin. The
               lights go down and the room seems like a blur of colored
               light streaks.

                                   LYDIA
                         Ivette...Ivette, you still with us?

                                   YVETTE
                         Oh yeah...but not for long. I got to
                         go.
                         The tortured artist is at home bad
                         mouthing me online to some fat bitch
                         who sent him a pic.

                                   LYDIA
                         Oh come on. Stay out a while. The set
                         went great. A couple more like this
                         and we're gonna be superstars.

                                   YVETTE
                         Who get paid by the head. Or by who
                         we're expected to give head to!

                                   LYDIA
                         Come on Yvette. Can't you enjoy
                         anything? Dream a little.

                                   YVETTE
                         Come on Lydia! We're better than
                         this! We're better than all these

                They laugh at her.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         I might as well be a stripper.

                                   TOM
                         That's what I've been saying.

                                   YVETTE
                          Fuck you Tom. I'm a fuckin' artist!

                                         TOM
                          What did I all of a sudden become a
                          pimp? Relax will ya.

                YVETTE gets her shit together and gets up.

                                   LYDIA
                         YVETTE wait, Tom apologize.

                                   TOM
                         What I do?

               YVETTE leaves the bar.

         7     INT. TRAIN -10:40                                        7

               YVETTE is looking at herself in the window. The old lady is
               on the train with her kitten. She looks at YVETTE and smiles.

                                   OLD LADY
                         What eyes you have sweetheart.

               YVETTE blushes.

                                   YVETTE
                         Thank you.

                                   OLD LADY
                         Did you know that cats carry
                         spirits.

                                   YVETTE
                         No I didn't.

                                   OLD LADY
                         It's because they can see our souls.
                         People say that cats can take your
                         breath. But it's not true. They only
                         carry it… if you ask. You shouldn't
                         hide them.

                                   YVETTE
                         Hide the cats?

                                   OLD LADY
                         Your eyes child. They shine your
                         light. I'm sure your sweetheart would
                         like you better if you showed them
                         off.

                                   YVETTE
                         My "sweetheart" only sees his work
                         and money now.

                She looks off and keeps talking.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Before all the money we used to be so
                         happy. Then like that. "Can't now
                         honey". "I have to call Philip
                         sweetie", His agent.

               The train stops.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                          "This is what pays for our life
                          honey, so you can play in your
                          little band, sweetie, I hate to be
                          called sweetie." "I can't go to
                          your show tonight, someone has to
                          make the money, Honey. "I do it for
                          you, sweetie". Well I guess he does
                          work hard and…

                She looks up and sees the Lady walking out the closing
                train doors. She looks at the sign and jumps up towards the
                door as it closes on her.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Awh Fuck!

                She sees the Old Lady. She is slowly moving up the stairs.
                YVETTE lets her head drop on the window. The train goes to
                the next station.
                                          ACT II

         8     INT. SEVEN'S APT. 11:03 PM                               8

               Seven gets out of bed. He takes a moment to get his bearings
               and goes online. He sees a chat room named "can't sleep".
               There is one person there. Seven goes in and begins to write.
               Their words are heard over the screen.

                                   SEVEN
                         Hello age/sex?

                                   ANTON
                         There's no girls online …23

                                   SEVEN
                         Why you up?

                                   ANTON
                         My girlfriend doesn't come home.

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh.

                                   ANTON
                         Got to go.

               SEVEN shuts down the program and walks off into the living
               room.

         9     INT. LIVINGROOM 11:06 PM                                 9

               Sitting at the lounge chair he grabs the remote. He looks
               over to what appears to be the silhouette of a person in a
               rocking chair. Seven jumps back and quickly turns on the
               lights to see that it was a blanket on the chair.

                                   SEVEN
                         Jumping at shadows.

               He turns off the light, sits down on the couch and turns on
               the TV. As the glow builds the camera sees LILITH in the
               blanket looking at him. The TV goes dark in between
               commercials and in that darkness Lilith is gone. The evening
               news is on the screen. SIERRA TAYLOR is giving a special
               report.

                                   SIERRA TAYLOR
                          This is Sierra Taylor, here outside
                          the Brooklyn House of detention.
                          Today is the day many families all
                          over New York and indeed all over
                          the country, have been waiting for,
                          for years.

                We see SEVEN drifting off

                                   SIERRA TAYLOR (CONT'D)
                          At Midnight tonight the "Angel
                          Gabriel" Rapist will be executed.

                EXT. BROOKLYN HOUSE DETENTION CENTER 11:07

                                   SIERRA
                         Sixteen years ago, the police
                         arrested Gabriel Thompson; a.k.a
                         the Angel Gabriel, on a statutory
                         rape charge filed by the parents of
                         Sara Burns, a pregnant sixteen-year
                         old girl.

               On the screen we see footage of Gabriel escorted out of the
               house by police. We then see a picture of Sara.

                                   SIERRA (CONT'D)
                         Sara refused to testify against
                         Gabriel, stating that the child
                         inside her was sent by God and was
                         to save the world.

               We see footage of Sara hiding her face.

                                   SIERRA (CONT'D)
                          A few days later seven more
                          families called in all carrying
                          Gabriel's children…
                          ALL UNDER 18, The youngest a
                          thirteen
                          year old girl.

                          Each woman refused to testify. The
                          night before the trial, two of the
                          girls …took their own lives. Both
                          girls leaving a note, stating the
                          Innocence of Gabriel and that the
                          actions of their families condemned
                          their souls to hell.

        10     INT. SARA BED ROOM EARLY MORNING                        10

               SARA is writing a letter and crying in her room. Tears stain
               the paper. She then sits at the edge of the bed and slowly
               brings the gun to her temple. She waits there for an
               eternity. We hear SARA'S parents outside the door ready for
               court.

                                   MRS. BURNS
                         Sara…I know this is going to be
                         hard sweetie…

               MRS. BURNS goes to open the door.

               SARA begins to bawl hysterically then shoots herself as soon
               as her parents walk in.

        11     EXT. BROOKLYN HOUSE DETENTION CENTER                    11

                                   SIERRA
                          Four of the other girls, cut out
                          their own tongues so not to
                          testify. A few months later Gabriel
                          was convicted by paternity tests.
                          And in a few moments there will be
                          an end this ongoing saga. Closure
                          for some, and for others an all too
                          familiar reminder of everything
                          that's wrong with our world. This
                          is Sierra Taylor signing out.

               With that the camera tilts up and zooms into a window above
               the crowd.

        12     INT. GABRIEL'S JAIL CELL                                12

               Close-up on GABRIEL'S eyes closed. As the camera pulls back
               we see his features. Gabriel is in his late thirties and has
               grown a large beard. His hair is braided back. He seems like
               a very spiritual person. He is sitting on the floor of his
               jail cell. The light from outside the bars falls on him.
               Gabriel opens his eyes.

                                   GABRIEL
                          I knew you weren't going to deny a
                          dying man his last request.

                We see cat's eyes looking back at Gabriel.

                                   WARDEN
                         I'd give you anything to see you go
                         to hell.

                                   GABRIEL
                         How badly do you want it?

                                   WARDEN
                         More than you could ever know.

                                   GABRIEL
                          Would you give up your family, your
                          wife? What about your reputation
                          and your job... warden? Is my death
                          worth more to you than all that?

                                         WARDEN
                         I would give my life to see you
                         die.

                                   GABRIEL
                          Would you give your soul? All these
                          years inside this room with out a
                          family, a wife, even a pet to
                          touch. You have all these things
                          and choose to devote your soul to
                          me. How sad and empty your life
                          will look tomorrow.

                                         WARDEN
                          Here's some pussy, ya sick fuck!
                          It's the last you'll get.

                The warden bends down and lets the cat into the cell with
                Gabriel. The cat walks away from the bars towards Gabriel
                immediately. It stops about two feet from him. The two
                stare for a moment. Gabriel reaches down and picks up the
                cat. He places his fingers gently around his head …then
                gently strokes the cat to sleep. Once asleep, Gabriel falls
                asleep.  His eyes begin to go into REM sleep immediately.
                Then begin to move faster than they could possibly move.
                His head begins to shake faster and faster then… nothing.
                His head falls to the side and his arms go limp. The cat
                walks away. Moving through the bars with ease the cat makes
                its way through the building.

        13     INT. WARDEN'S OFFICE                                    13

               The warden is asleep. He left his computer online looking at
               the NRA site. The cat jumps on to his desk and looks at him.
               The cat curls up in his lap and sleeps. The warden's eyes
               begin to repeat the same pattern Gabriel just underwent. The
               warden wakes up and smiles devilishly. He strokes the cat.
               The warden looks around and sees the computer. He types up
               porn. And sets it to search.

                                                            BLACKOUT

               A few moments later we see tissues all over the wardens
               desk. He is going through his desk. In a drawer he finds a
               knife. He goes back to the search window and types in Kiddy
               porn and gets up from the computer.

                                   GABRIEL (V.O.)
                          And like that, a life can be
                          erased. Everything you were you
                          will never be and what is worse of
                          all will be as if you were never
                          anyone else.

               We see his pants still there. As he walks he loosens his
               shirt, picks up the cat and walks through the door.

        14     INT. OUTSIDE THE PSYCHIATRIC WARD DOOR                  14

               The WARDEN is walking towards the gate for this wing. There
               is a console of buttons that open the gate and each cell. The
               officer on duty looks up at the WARDEN. The WARDEN looks at
               him.

                                   OFFICER
                         Uh … Hello warden.

                                   WARDEN
                         Step away.

                                   OFFICER
                         Excuse me?

               A flash of dark energy rushes out of THE WARDEN and through
               the Guard. Both the WARDEN and THE GUARD'S bodies Go limp and
               begin to fall. The WARDEN'S body stumbles and rebalances it
               self as the OFFICER falls. The warden opens the first gate.
               Stepping in he flips the switches on all the private cells.
               He opens his mouth and cuts out his tongue. He turns to the
               wall and smashes his head into it, leaving him unconscious.
               He wakes up and is looking at the cat. He hears Gabriel's
               voice as his soul walks out of the warden's body across the
               room into the cat.

                                   GABRIEL VOICE
                          Did you know Animals can see and
                          carry our very essences. Warden?
                          What's the matter, cat got your
                          tongue?

               The warden can not speak due to his severed tongue, which
               the cat is licking.

                                   GABRIEL VOICE (CONT'D)
                         Bye warden.

               At that point we can see twenty inmates of the wing closing
               in on the warden. His light fades out as he is dragged into
               the darkness.

        15     EXT. BROOKLYN HOUSE OF DETENTION NIGHT                  15

               The kitten carrying Gabriel walks through the fence and walks
               across the street. He turns to see bright lights coming at
               him.

                                                       CUT TO:

         16     INT. SEVEN'S LIVINGROOM-11:30PM                        16

               Seven wakes up terrified at the dream he just had. He looks
               at the TV. A lot of commotion is going on outside the prison.
               Seven raises the volume.

                                   SIERRA TAYLOR
                          It's madness here! Reports from
                          inside say that there are
                          psychiatric patients out of their
                          cells. It has been confirmed, The
                          Angel Gabriel has died before the
                          execution, and we believe that the
                          warden may also be dead inside.
                          Sources did say that a letter was
                          found written by the warden stating
                          Gabriel's innocence and his guilt
                          over the sentence. We will get back
                          to you with details of the case.

                Seven is shaken up. He turns off the TV. He hears muffled
                yelling.

                                   YVETTE
                          You're a spoiled sheltered asshole!
                          Out here, I live … me. I have to
                          get by alone. We don't all have
                          pretty little fags, throwing money
                          to buy our emotional baggage and
                          call it art. I'm outta here … who
                          the fuck needs you!

                After that he hears a door slam, followed by footsteps
                outside. Then he hears a bottle breaking. The sound echoes
                through him strangely. LILITH crosses the hallway in the
                background. Seven shakes it off and heads for the bathroom.

         17     INT. SEVEN'S BATHROOM 11:33 PM                         17

                Seven is in front of the open medicine cabinet and is
                spitting out mouthwash. As he gets up, he goes to close the
                mirror. We see the empty space behind him. He goes into the
                shower and begins to wash his hair.

                Close up on SEVEN'S profile

                Seven is passing his hands slowly back. As he does this the
                camera pans with him to catch the rest of his head. Behind
                him in the shower there is LILITH, a dark haired women with
                pale almost radiant skin. A green glow emanates from her.
                Seven doesn't see her. LILITH kisses his hand as it passes
                through his hair. SEVEN opens his eyes, turns and screams.
                She covers his mouth in a trailing, but effortless move. As
                if she was moving by thought alone. She removes her hand.
                Sound returns LOUDER and seven remembers a strange woman is
                in his shower.

                                   SEVEN
                         Who are you!

               She places her hand over his mouth again. He grabs it.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Who are you!

                                   LILITH
                          What a beautiful creature you have
                          become.
                          Much prettier than your father.

                                   SEVEN
                         You know my father?

                                   LILITH
                          I have traveled searching for you,
                          but that's not important, is it?

                                   SEVEN
                         I know you.

                                   LILITH
                         I know you are afraid of these
                         creatures.

               She strokes his face.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                         You're not as unique as you think.

                                   SEVEN
                          Am I asleep?
                          Why are you here?

                                   LILITH
                          To protect you. You are to share
                          eternity with me.

                Women are chanting mournfully. With that the lights go
                down.

        18     EXT. ROOFTOP NIGHT                                      18

                They are standing naked in front of the city skyline.
                LILITH raises her hands and strips of fabric come together
                on her. Lilith is in a beautiful robe based on many
                different cultures. Seven grabs a towel off a clothes line
                on the roof.

                                   LILITH
                          Immortality and control over what's
                          left of this cesspool forever. You
                          can live for as long as you want.
                          Here with me. This is what I offer.
                          You're mother was wrong sweet
                          child. We are not here to save this
                          place. 

                                   SEVEN
                          We?

                                   LILITH
                          You and I are the same. We have no
                          place among them. These people
                          don't want us. Our souls have been
                          exiled.

                                   SEVEN
                          Why, what have we done?

                                   LILITH
                          We drink of the divine chalice,
                          unlocking that which confines our
                          souls.

                                   SEVEN
                          How?

                                   LILITH
                          You travel awake through your
                          dreams. Awake you hear the dreams
                          of strangers in your soul. It is
                          all to teach you.

                                   SEVEN
                          Teach what?

                                   LILITH
                          Emancipation. Freedom from the pain
                          and decay of our bodies. An
                          eternity of indulgence. 

               She moves in close to him, so that their lips are almost
               touching.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                          And you will know all the pleasure
                          this world can offer.

                                   SEVEN
                          Who are you?

                                   LILITH
                          I've gone by many names in my life.
                          My first was Lilith.

                                   SEVEN
                          Lilith please leave. Leave now.

               She pauses and looks at him longingly.

                                   LILITH
                          You will need me again.

               With a gust of wind she is gone. Seven's towel flies off and
               he is standing butt naked on the roof alone.

                                   SEVEN
                         Damn it's cold up here.

               He turns to see many people on the roof laughing at him.

        19     INT. SEVEN'S LIVING ROOM                                19

               Seven wakes up in front of an open window and pulls up a
               blanket.

                                   SEVEN
                         What a fucked up dream.

               He looks at the TV. A lot of commotion is going on outside
               the Prison.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Holy shit!

               Just then an image of a person walks into the bathroom behind
               SEVEN. He looks around then turns off the TV.

        20     EXT. STREET                                             20

               YVETTE is now walking back to her apartment.

                                   YVETTE
                         Stupid, old Lady.

        21     INT. LOFT HALLWAY                                       21

               YVETTE walks up a dark winding staircase. She is nodding off
               and coming down and can barely handle the keys. She opens the
               door and makes it inside.

        22     INT. SEVEN'S APT                                        22

               SEVEN is in his living room with the TV off. He takes a few
               steps towards the bathroom, thinks for a moment then stops.
               A commotion is going on outside. A man and woman are
               arguing. SEVEN hears a door slam, followed by footsteps
               outside. Afterwards he hears a bottle breaking. The sound
               echoes through him strangely. Seven shakes it off and heads
               for the kitchen. He opens the cabinet and pulls out a few
               empty coffee cans. He closes the cabinet door.

        23     INT. ANTON'S LOFT                                       23

               YVETTE opens the door to see Anton on the computer. He signs
               off.

                                   YVETTE
                         You plugged in again baby?

               He doesn't answer her. 

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         The show went great. The guys all
                         think we're gonna make it big. They
                         wanted us to celebrate but I thought
                         I would come home and spend some time
                         with you.

                                   ANTON
                         Huh?

                                   YVETTE
                         You never spend any time with me when
                         I'm here … Always painting or on that
                         thing. 

                Anton doesn't answer. YVETTE begins to kiss behind his
                neck, and work her way around. Eventually straddling him.
                She senses his rejection, but still keeps at it.

                                   ANTON
                         Yvette stop.

                                   YVETTE
                         What! What did I do?

               Anton grabs her arm and pulls up her sleeve. Her arm is
               covered in track marks. YVETTE'S entire world sinks as she
               sees how he sees her.
               Her eyes become sad and filled with tears, then anger. YVETTE
               pulls away and slaps him. She gets off and goes into the
               bathroom.

        24     INT. BATHROOM. NIGHT                                    24

               YVETTE locks herself in the bathroom. She is angry and
               shaking. She opens a case with needles and a spoon in it. She
               frantically goes through the bags and finds nothing.

                                   YVETTE
                         Fuck!

               She begins to cry, dropping the needle works into the sink.
               She looks up at herself and takes a moment. Behind her in the
               mirror she sees ANTON's pants and shirt hanging on a hook.
               She turns around and begins to go through them finding his
               wallet. She pulls a few hundred dollars out of it. Tucking it
               safely away she turns back around and fixes her face then
               goes back into the room.

        25     INT. LOFT 11:33 PM                                      25

               She sees Anton in front of his canvas staring at the curtain
               about to open it. The site of him paying attention to the
               canvas enrages her.

                                   YVETTE
                          You spoiled sheltered asshole! Out
                          here I live…me. I have to get by
                          alone. We don't all have pretty
                          little fags, throwing money at us
                          to buy our emotional baggage and
                          call it art.

                Anton doesn't turn from the canvas

                                   YVETTE
                          I'm outta here…who the fuck needs
                          you!

               She leaves and slams the door.

        26     INT. HALLWAY                                            26

               She hears a bottle breaking from inside the apt. She hurries
               her pace. She begins to run down the stairwell. The movement
               and speed begin to make her world seem blurred. She is going
               faster and faster until she is stopped dead in her tracks by
               the Old Lady.

                                   YVETTE
                         What are you doing here?

                                   OLD LADY
                         Excuse me sweetheart. Do you know a
                         young man named Seven in this
                         Apartment building?

                                   YVETTE
                         What, Uh no, sorry I don't.

               The Old Lady pauses blankly. Her eyes begin to roll. YVETTE
               looks down the stairs as an attempt to keep going. The old
               lady's eyes comes back again, but her speech is weaker,

               frailer.

                                   OLD LADY
                          My sister used to hide her eyes.
                          She used to always look away from
                          you. She killed herself. Left me a
                          note with my house key in it. She
                          used to live with us. She left
                          because of my husband, you know? I
                          let her leave.

               YVETTE forgets her anger for the OLD LADY and is more afraid
               than anything.

                                   OLD LADY (CONT'D)
                          He was a terrible man.
                          My sister killed herself the next
                          week.
                          They say she wouldn't have if I
                          were there.

               YVETTE doesn't know what to do.

                                   YVETTE
                         I am sorry.

               The Old Lady Rolls again.

                                   OLD LADY
                         Do you know Seven?

                                   YVETTE
                         No, I'm sorry I don't, I said.

               She goes to walk around her. The Old Lady's eyes twitch again
               She sits down.

                                   OLD LADY
                          My husband was a terrible man.
                          He used to beat the children.

                YVETTE runs pass her.

                                   YVETTE
                         I can't I have to go now, sorry,
                         bye, sorry.

        27     EXT. BUILDING FRONT                                     27

               YVETTE runs out of the building and runs to the right of the
               screen.

                                                            FADE TO BLACK.

        28     INT. ANTON'S LOFT 11:00 PM                              28

               Anton wakes up at a computer screen. He begins to search for
               a chat room, and decides to make one. He sets up a chat room
               named "can't sleep".

               11:03 pm

               A person enters the room and begins to write. Their words are
               heard over the screen.

                                   SEVEN
                         Hello age/sex?

                                   ANTON
                         There's no girls online … 23

                                   SEVEN
                         Why are you up?

                                   ANTON
                         My girlfriend doesn't come home.

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh.

               With that the door opens behind him. YVETTE comes in. She is
               obviously high and tries to straighten up.

                                   ANTON (COMPUTER TALK)
                         Got to go.

               Anton signs off.

                                   YVETTE
                         You plugged in again Anton baby.

               Anton makes a face to himself of disgust.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                          You never spend any time with me
                          When I'm here…
                          Your Always painting or on that
                          thing.

                Anton doesn't answer. YVETTE begins to kiss behind his
                neck, and work her way around. Eventually straddling him. 
                She senses his rejection, but still keeps at it.

                                   ANTON
                         Yvette stop.

                                   YVETTE
                         What! What did I do?

               Anton grabs her arm and pulls up her sleeve. Her arm is
               covered in track marks. YVETTE pulls away and punches Anton a
               few times in the chest and then slaps him. She gets off and
               goes into the bathroom. Anton sits there for a second and
               looks at her picture before the drugs. A tear comes out of
               his eye. He stretches his hand down and picks up a bottle of
               wine off the floor. Taking a swig he walks towards a large
               canvas that is covered by a sheet. He looks at it a moment.
               The canvas dwarfs him and is most of the loft. He goes to
               open the sheet and the bathroom door opens.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                          You spoiled sheltered asshole! Out
                          here I live … me, I have to get by
                          alone. We don't all have pretty
                          little fags, throwing money at us
                          to buy our emotional baggage and
                          call it art.

               Anton doesn't turn from the canvas

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         I'm outta here … who the fuck needs
                         you!

               She leaves and slams the door. Anton sips the bottle for a
               moment, then throws it at the door. He looks at a picture of
               YVETTE that he drew and goes to put on his shoes and his coat
               to find her.

        29     INT. HALLWAY NIGHT                                      29

               He leaves the apartment. ANTON is walking through the hallway
               toward the stairs. Going into the stairwell he sees THE OLD
               LADY asleep. He looks at her to see if she is alive. Her eyes
               are in REM sleep. He turns and walks down the stairs. 

        30     EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING NIGHT                           30

               He gets out of his apartment building and looks left and
               right. He decides to go left after.

                                                            FADE TO BLACK.

        31     EXT. DINER NIGHT                                        31

               Seven walks into a diner and sits at the counter.

                                   SEVEN
                         Can I have a cup of coffee?

               Anton is sitting down a few seats from him drawing on a
               napkin. Brightly lit images of them begin to grow around
               they're bodies. The two fields begin to move closer to each
               other. Seven's and Anton's faces form on the figures of light
               and notice each other. At that moment Seven and Anton, still
               sitting, glance at each other. The scene slows and suddenly a
               barrage of images from the beginning of the movie flash by,
               ending on the Crack house of Seven's birth.

        32     INT. CRACK HOUSE NIGHT                                  32

               ANTON gets up off the floor and opens a door. Bright light
               takes over the room.

        33     INT. COFFEE SHOP. NIGHT                                 33

               SEVEN recognizing Anton and turns his face quickly. He gets
               his coffee and turns to go.

                                   CASHIER
                         Remember 24/Seven!

               ANTON looks up and then down at his napkin, which has a
               picture of SEVEN on it. Then look up to see SEVEN again, but
               he is gone.

        34     EXT. ALLEY NIGHT                                        34

               YVETTE is sitting in a dark alley with a needle sticking out
               of her vein. Her eyes are glazed over. A shadow creeps up to
               her slowly. THE OLD LADY is standing over YVETTE.

                                   OLD LADY
                          You're dying young lady… so pretty…
                          You should have taken better care
                          of yourself. Do you want to live?

                She cradles YVETTE to herself and begins to sing a lullaby.
                As she does this YVETTE begins to go into a seizure. THE
                OLD LADY'S eyes begin to roll into her head and she falls
                with YVETTE to the ground. After a moment YVETTE wakes up
                and makes it out from under THE OLD LADY. She begins to
                vomit and is extremely disoriented and scared. YVETTE sees
                THE OLD LADY and screams. YVETTE begins to go into a fit of
                confusion speaking in different languages. She looks around
                the area.

                                         YVETTE
                         Leave...what...run, run now you
                         have to hurry!

               YVETTE takes of running. After a moment she comes back. She
               grabs THE OLD LADY'S purse then removes her necklace and puts
               it on. As she turns she sees a car and ducks down. When they
               pass she runs in the opposite direction.

        35     EXT. STREET NIGHT                                       35

               Seven is walking down the street thinking. He hears Anton's
               voice.

                                   ANTON (V.O.)
                          Why won't you wake me in the real
                          world?

               SEVEN stops and looks back at the diner. Then turns his
               head and puts his finger on his lips.

        36     EXT. SCHOOLYARD DAY                                     36

               Children are screaming and playing in a schoolyard. A bell is
               heard and the children begin to line up.

                                   TEACHER
                         Pair up, fingers on lips.

               Each kid puts a finger on their lips and grabs the hand of
               the kid next to them. One last hand comes out and isn't
               grabbed. SEVEN who is now about seven years old looks at the
               girl who's not grabbing his hand and puts his hand down.

                                   TEACHER (CONT'D)
                         Seven, hold Cindy's hand.

                                   CINDY
                         No way he's gross.

               The other kids laugh at him.

        37     INT CLASSROOM DAY                                       37

               Little murmurs and paper rustling is heard. A child is
               walking down from the front of the classroom to her seat. She
               sits down in front of SEVEN. Seven is looking at the crucifix
               in the front of the classroom.

                                   TEACHER
                          Now wasn't that interesting, thanks
                          Jenny.
                          And what are you going to do when
                          When you grow up, Seven?

               SEVEN doesn't answer.

                                   TEACHER (CONT'D)
                         Seven?

               Children giggling. Two kids whisper in the back of the
               classroom.

                                   KID 1
                         His mom is crazy.

               Seven stands and begins to speak.

                                   SEVEN
                         I'm going to bring the truth to the
                         world.

                                   TEACHER
                         What?

                                   SEVEN
                         I will bring, for my father, the true
                         of heart. I'll teach who will hear.
                         And together we will unite all
                         people.

                                         TEACHER
                         So... your going to be a teacher,
                         huh.

                                   SEVEN
                         My mommy says I'm the messenger.

               The Teacher, looking as if she wished she never called on
               SEVEN, tries to end the situation.

                                   TEACHER
                          Oh... your going to be a mailman.
                          Great Seven.

                Looking at Seven's face, we hear the children in the class
                laughing. The laughter grows and grows until it hits a peak
                and then...silence.

                                                     39     ZOOM IN    39

                                   SEVEN
                         Why did Jesus die?

               The teacher is taken aback.

                                   TEACHER
                         He died to save us from the sins of
                         the world.

                                   SEVEN
                         Did God kill him?

                                   TEACHER
                         No, men killed him.

                                   SEVEN
                         Didn't they know he was going to save
                         them? Didn't he tell them?

                                   TEACHER
                         Yes, but sometimes people are afraid
                         of what they don't understand.

               Seven looks at the cross and starts to cry.

        38     EXT. SCHOOLYARD DAY                                     38

               A bunch of kids are beating up SEVEN. He is surrounded on all
               sides. He gets knocked to the floor. SEVEN lies on the floor.

        39     INT. OUTSIDE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE                         39

               High angle shot of a principal's office door. Working our
               way down the door we see SEVEN standing outside it. Muffled
               voices are heard coming from inside the office.

        40     INSIDE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE                               40

                                   PRINCIPAL
                         I understand where you're coming from
                         Mrs. Hidalgo, but...

                                   MARIA
                             (Proudly)
                         Miss Hidalgo!

                                   PRINCIPAL
                          Excuse me, but I don't believe you
                          Should continue to tell Seven that
                          he is the son of God.

                                   MARIA
                          Sister Paulette...Why does this
                          school exist?

                                   PRINCIPAL
                          Excuse me?

                                   MARIA
                          You create this school system to
                          reinforce a belief in our blessed
                          Father, our savior, and the holy
                          spirit.

                                   PRINCIPAL
                          Yes, we teach of Jesus and his
                          works, and the many wonders of God
                          and his people...but it is one
                          thing to take from the Bible and
                          bring it into our lives but to
                          raise a child to believe he is
                          Jesus, is damaging.

                                   MARIA
                          My Child is SEVEN, He may be a
                          child of God, but he is not JESUS.
                          Have you spoke to Seven about this?

                                   PRINCIPAL
                          No, I felt given the nature of this
                          situation It would be best if we
                          spoke first.

                                   MARIA
                          So my son believes he is in trouble
                          and his mother was called into
                          school because of something he can
                          not help!

               Maria gets up from the chair and goes to the door.

                                   PRINCIPAL
                         Miss Hidalgo !

               She opens the door and looks at Seven.

                                   MARIA
                          You did nothing wrong baby.
                          Mommy loves you.

               She kisses his head and he smiles. She closes the door and
               turns to the principal.

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          I have seen allot of things in my
                          life and of those things I would
                          not share most of them with you.

                                   PRINCIPAL
                          I don't think I understand.

                                   MARIA
                          You teach faith, but faith in what?
                          A person that did live. Or a person
                          that will come back. What about the
                          ones that are here?

                THE PRINCIPAL sits back.

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          My son is a gift from God and IS
                          his child. He is also MY child
                          ...and your savoir. I will teach
                          him what god tells ME to Teach him
                          about his life. If my son fears his
                          life is threatened by God it is not
                          from my teachings of God. It must
                          be from yours, Because my God is a
                          powerful, caring, loving God who
                          would never be threatened by the
                          belief that one child feels that he
                          is his son. Good night.

               She gets up and collects Seven and closes the door.

        41     INT. OLD LADY'S APT NIGHT                               41

               YVETTE uses the key to walk in. She hangs her coat on the
               hook and turns on the light. Locking the door behind her she
               walks into the apartment.

        42     INT BEDROOM NIGHT                                       42

               She walks up to a dresser and pulls out a box containing old
               papers and ID's. YVETTE searches for a box of photographs.
               She picks up one of THE OLD LADY, when she was young. Smiling
               she puts the picture away. While passing the mirror she
               admires her body for a second.

        43     INT KITCHEN NIGHT                                       43

               YVETTE fills the sink with water then rips open a bag of
               kitty chow and dumps it on the kitchen floor.

                                   YVETTE
                         Good bye kitty.

               After opening a window, she walks out and closes the door.

        44     EXT. ROOF TOP DAWN                                      44

               Seven looks out at the morning over the Brooklyn skyline. He
               begins to think to himself.

        45     EXT. ROOF TOP DAY                                       45

               Shot of a very hot sun. Vultures are heard as if circling a
               desert. Middle Eastern music is playing lightly in the
               background.

               Seven, 12 years old, is staring into the sun and squinting.
               He is crying, but not wailing.

                                                       CUT TO:

        46     EXT. SCHOOLYARD DAY                                     46

               SEVEN is standing in front of a group of kids.

                                   KIDS
                         Seven thinks he's Jesus, Seven
                         thinks he's Jesus.

                                                       CUT TO:

        47     EXT. ROOF TOP DAY                                       47

               Beads of sweat are forming on his head. When we get a full
               shot of SEVEN he is on the edge of his building. He has his
               arms outstretched. Slowly one of his feet reaches out off the
               ledge. A church bell starts to ring. After a few times seven
               looks over to see that the bell is still moving but no sound
               is coming out. Slowly the other sounds of the man made world
               fade away. Cars no longer can be heard. Whistles have no
               sound. The ice cream truck has no bell. Radios have gone
               silent. Only the sounds of the untouched natural world can be
               heard. SEVEN can hear the wind. With it come many whispers.
               The words are in all languages. SEVEN looks out across the
               Brooklyn rooftops. Each section he focused on gives different
               words. Each Building. Every window. He sees a man on the
               street and can hear him cursing to himself in his mind. He
               can see an old lady walking happily while singing the tune to
               a song she is whistling. SEVEN begins to smile wildly.
               Suddenly he hears a woman screaming he turns and slips off
               the ledge. We see his foot give way. All sounds resume. SEVEN
               is on the ground laughing. He fell from the ledge backwards
               on to the roof.

                                   MARIA
                          Seven, come eat before some crazy
                          person shoots you.

                                         SEVEN
                          In a second mom.
                          I'm doing something.

               We pull away from Seven sitting.

        48     EXT. ROOFTOP NIGHT                                      48

               The sun goes down and we still see him sitting in the same
               place. The camera moves right and sees a pigeon coop.

        49     EXT. ROOFTOP NIGHT                                      49

               Continuing on past the coop, several years have past. SEVEN
               is now a young man. A roof top door opens.

                                   MARIA
                         There you are Seven. I've
                         Been calling for you.
                         What are you doing up here?

                                   SEVEN
                         Wondering.

                                   MARIA
                         How you're mother is so beautiful?

               SEVEN smiles Shyly

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          You know every person has things
                          inside that NO one else would
                          believe.

                                   SEVEN
                          Not like this.

                                   MARIA
                          Where do you think all that comes
                          from? Other people's minds and
                          hearts are what you hear. You are
                          the key to all the little locked
                          boxes inside our hearts.

                                         SEVEN
                          What should I be doing?

                                   MARIA
                          Aye, Hijo, all I can tell you is
                          that you are very special to this
                          World. You are very special to
                          Me, and when the time is right
                          you'll know what you are supposed
                          to do. Just keep looking for it. It
                          will come. Why don't you come down
                          and eat before someone tries to
                          steal you away.

                                         SEVEN
                         I'll be down in a second.

        50     EXT. ROOF TOP DAY (PRESENT TIME)                        50

               SEVEN, yawning walks into the apartment.

        51     INT. ANTON'S LOFT NIGHT                                 51

               YVETTE comes in. She come in casually, but quickly notices
               ANTON asleep on the bed. She sneaks into the bathroom.

        52     INT. BATHROOM NIGHT                                     52

               YVETTE sees ANTON'S pants on the floor with his wallet in it.
               She looks at his driver's license. Looking at the old
               pictures of them makes her smile. She sees herself before the
               drugs then looks in the mirror. She turns on the water and
               begins to take the dark make up off her eyes. Wiping her face
               YVETTE looks at herself in the mirror. Make up is running
               down her face. She goes into the shower.

        53     INT. LOFT BEDROOM NIGHT                                 53

               YVETTE comes out quietly. She tip-toes around the bed and
               crawls in beside ANTON. As she closes her eyes the blankets
               suctions around her as if it is sucking the life out of her.
               ANTON wakes up and looks over at YVETTE. He sees her rolling
               with the blankets as if she is having a nightmare. He turns
               and goes to sleep. IVETTE gets sucked into the bed. Her
               screams are muffled as the room disappears.

        54     LILITH DREAM MONTAGUE                                   54

               LILITH is underwater holding her breath and struggling to get
               to the surface. She is swimming and swimming and cannot reach
               the surface. Panic begins to take over. She cannot hold her
               breath anymore. Finally she exhales and falls into the ocean.

        55     EXT. BEACH DAY                                          55

               LILITH opens her eyes and is washed up on a beautiful beach.
               People are sleeping around her. She looks up and sees ANTON
               walking away.

                                   LILITH
                         Hey you, Anton!

               She goes to lift her arms and realizes that they, and her
               legs are buried in the sand. When she tries to pull them out,
               the sand stretches, then recoils. Allowing her to move her
               limbs, but keeping her in place. The frustration is weakening
               her.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                         Anton!

               ANTON walks out of sight. She hangs her head.

        56     INT. CONCERT HALL NIGHT                                 56

               When she raises her head, she is on stage with YVETTE'S band
               waiting to go on. The curtain opens to a huge red velvet
               auditorium. LILITH is standing there unable to play. The band
               slowly walks off stage. She looks into the Audience and sees
               ANTON walking out of the back into the distance.

                                   LILITH
                         Wait!

               The auditorium disappears leaving only ANTON and the doorway
               of light. She runs towards the door. He passes through and
               closes the door, as she approaches.

        57     EXT. CRACK HOUSE DOOR NIGHT                             57

                LILITH is pounding on the door. A little window slides
                open. A face looks out to her and then closes the door. The
                door fades to black. A square light comes on bellow her. A
                DRUG DEALER sits at a table and sticks a needle into
                LILITH'S arm. Angry Middle Eastern faces are screaming at
                her from out of the darkness. Fire is burning. Lilith is
                terrified. 

        58     EXT ISRAEL DAY                                          58

               LILITH is running from a crowd who are stoning her. She
               falls. She gets up to turn as a stone hits her in the face
               breaking her nose. The crowd circles around her. As she is
               tortured she looks into the eyes of a little girl who is
               watching. Once again she is hit. The little girl looks at her
               lovingly. LILITH screams in pain and terror never taking her
               eyes of the girl. The child extends her arm to LILITH. A
               transparent silhouette of her arm extends past her body as
               the LITTLE GIRL'S body falls to the ground. The pain of the
               stones tearing her flesh, are too much for Lilith's body to
               deal with. She extends her arm out to the girl. A large rock
               knocks her arm away, leaving a transparent silhouette of her
               it still in place. LILITH's soul climbs out of her mangled
               body. She sees the little girl's essence standing in front of
               her. LILITH turns to see herself die. The image enrages her.
               She runs for her killers, but the girl stops her. She points
               to a doorway of light opening up for her. A figure comes out
               and extends his arm to her. LILITH walks towards the figure.
               She turns and looks at the proud men looking over her body.
               She begins to walk towards the door, rage is taking over her
               essence. She glances at the girl, then her body and then runs
               towards her attackers. As the figure in the doorway tries to
               grab her, he grabs the little girl who is watching Lilith.
               The little girl and the shadow, are taken back into the
               doorway. LILITH runs through one of the men. Lilith falls
               behind him but pulls his soul out for a moment, causing him
               to go into a seizer. Lilith sees the ringleader's daughter's
               body on the floor.
               Slowly she walks over to it and touches her. LILITH
               disappears. The little girl rises and walks up to LILITH and
               picks up her necklace. She raises the necklace slowly and
               puts it on.

        59     INT. GABRIEL'S APARTMENT NIGHT                          59

                GABRIEL and a tall, thin black woman are on his bed with
                candles all around them. Gabriel can see Lilith in the face
                of this woman. 

                                   LILITH
                         We can live forever.
                         Never grow old.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Tell me how.

        60     EXT. MARIA'S APARTMENT WINDOW NIGHT                     60

               GABRIEL is outside the room of a young girl. He looks at her
               menacingly. The lights go out.

        61     INT. GABRIEL'S APARTMENT NIGHT                          61

               GABRIEL comes back bloodied.

                                   LILITH
                         What happened?

                                   GABRIEL
                         Just Having a little fun.

               LILITH grows afraid.

                                   LILITH
                         What have you done!

                                   GABRIEL
                         Mind yourself woman!

                                   LILITH
                         Gabriel wait!

                                   GABRIEL
                         Move!

               LILITH goes to grab him when GABRIEL attacks her. He breaks
               the chain around her neck and holds it in his hand. LILITH,
               now angered, projects herself out of the black woman's body
               with enough force to send GABRIEL'S essence out of his body
               through a closet door behind him. She returns to her body and
               moves GABRIEL'S body slightly out of sight. He walks through
               the door disoriented from never being disembodied.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         What did you do to me?

               He looks around frantically. He cannot move very well. The
               black woman stares at him and picks up her chain, then sits
               down. 

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         I'll kill you, you fucking bitch.

               LILITH'S essence leaves again grabbing Gabriel's essence by
               the throat and floating to the ceiling with him.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         LILITH please!!

               Gabriel begins to fade away slowly. His self is being
               replaced by SHADOW. He sees his body on the floor as his
               essence decays.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         Lilith! No, please!

                                         LILITH (DISGUSTED)
                         How easily you lose yourself.

               She drops him into himself and once again returns to her
               body. GABRIEL'S body gasps and ripples as if it had been
               dropped from a great fall. She goes over to see if he's OK.
               He looks up with rage in his eyes.

        62     EXT. YVETTE'S DREAM WORLD                               62

               LILITH crashes to the floor. She gets up with anger in her
               face YVETTE is on the floor with needles sticking out of her
               arm, in front of an aging building. Lovingly LILITH
               approaches. She carefully removes the needles and bandages
               the wounds. LILITH looks into the building then looks into
               YVETTE'S face softly.

                                   LILITH
                         You need to leave this place.

                                   YVETTE
                         I can't leave.

                                   LILITH
                         Don't worry honey. Your essence is
                         tired. All the misery, the regret,
                         has weakened you. You need to go
                         start over. They're all out there.
                         Anton is waiting for you to become
                         who you were. She's out there, you
                         need to get away from who you've
                         become here. Your body needs to rest.

                                   YVETTE
                         What's out there?

                                   LILITH
                         Everything you can imagine. Anything
                         you can imagine. You never have to go
                         back to the pain. You never need the
                         drugs. Let me show you.

                Images of beauty fill the outskirts of YVETTE'S world.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                          Anything you want you can make
                          happen,
                          But only out there.
                          Go, go make your new world.
                          I'll take care of things there.

                ANTON appears with black hair at the gate of YVETTE'S
                world. He signals for her to come. As YVETTE leaves the
                porch a light dusting of particles come off her. They dance
                in swirls of color as they leave a trail. LILITH closes the
                door, as YVETTE walks towards ANTON. As she hugs him he
                dissolves and YVETTE'S world disintegrates, leaving her
                falling in a black mass.

        63     INT. ANTON'S LOFT MORNING                               63

               YVETTE wakes up to Anton screaming at her. She jumps back in
               fright.

                                   ANTON
                          …And then you take my fucking money
                          and run out to get high! I'm not
                          supporting your fucking habit
                          anymore. You try that shit again
                          and I will throw you out! I won't
                          live like this anymore!

                                         YVETTE
                         What money?

                                   ANTON
                          FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU YVETTE! Don't
                          fucking lie to me. You better
                          fucking clean up.

                Anton leaves.

                                   YVETTE
                         YVETTE?

        64     INT. ANTON'S LOFT DAY                                   64

               YVETTE is taking garbage out of the can.

        65     EXT. HALLWAY DAY                                        65

               She goes out to the hallway to throw out garbage and runs
               into SEVEN coming down the stairs. She is trying to shove the
               bag in the incinerator.

                                  YVETTE
                          Pardon me … you.
                          I didn't see you there.

                                  SEVEN
                          Nah it's my fault I was off in
                          another world. I wasn't watching
                          where I was going.
                          Here, let me do this for you.

                He takes the bags from YVETTE, as she checks him out.

                                   YVETTE
                         You live here long?

                                   SEVEN
                         My whole life.

                                   YVETTE
                         I just moved in.

               SEVEN blushes.

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh yeah.

                                   YVETTE
                         Yeah.

                                   SEVEN
                         Well, it was nice meeting you.

               Seven goes inside the apartment. He turns to look at her
               before she goes in. YVETTE smiles flirtatiously as she goes
               in.

        66     INT. LOFT DAY                                           66

               YVETTE notices Anton's covered mural that spans the room.
               Slowly she opens it to see a continuous story depicting
               Anton's dream world. Anton's hair is blonde in the paintings.
               She smiles and continues to look. She sees Seven and Lilith.
               YVETTE seems shocked. She stares at LILITH.

                                   YVETTE
                         How could he…?

               Continuing on she sees Gabriel's face. YVETTE's face turns to
               horror, then intrigue. She notices a picture of herself.
               SHADOW is painted Seven feet tall and looming over her. She
               stares at it. The light in the room changes slightly.
               YVETTE's face morphs into Lilith. Behind her, the room
               changes to a set of columns going deep into the horizon.
               SHADOW walks across the hall in the Distance. YVETTE turns,
               as the room returns to its normal state.

        67     EXT. WILLIAMSBURG GALLERY DAY                           67

                                   PHILIP
                          Hey, are you paying attention to
                          me. You are going to have to
                          produce more work.

                                         ANTON
                         What do you mean more work?

                                   PHILIP
                         Smaller pieces that more people can
                         buy.

                                   ANTON
                         I make murals.

                                   PHILLIP
                          No, you made murals, now they want
                          more. You have too many people who
                          want your paintings to keep making
                          two or three a year!

                                   ANTON
                         Each one takes a long time.

                                   PHILLIP
                         I know. Why don't you make some nice
                         "couch sized" paintings.

                                   ANTON
                         What am I fucking Bob Ross? I don't
                         make "Happy little accidents". You
                         hear me? You hear me Phil!

                They walk out.

        68     EXT. GALLERY DAY                                        68

                                   PHILLIP
                          Don't get your panties all in a
                          bunch. I'm just looking out for us.
                          Just telling you what the buyers
                          are saying.

                                   ANTON
                          I never have to work another day in
                          my life. If they don't want to buy
                          them, then fuck em.

                                   PHILLIP
                         Great attitude, Anton.

               Anton looks at the newspaper and sees Gabriel's face.

                                   ANTON
                         Let me get one of those.

                                   PHILLIP( TO THE NEWSSTAND GUY)
                         He's looking for a new job.

        69     INT. TRAIN CAR                                          69

               Anton reads the paper staring at Gabriel's face. His eyes
               grow heavy and he falls asleep.

        70     ANTON DREAM WORLD                                       70

               ANTON is standing in front of large canvases all painted
               white. He picks up a paintbrush dipped in red paint. Boldly
               he strikes the canvas slashing it with red. The line fades
               away. ANTON picks up more paint and again the line
               disappears. He tries different colors and brushes, in a
               painting frenzy. He decides to change canvases still to no
               avail every canvas is still white.

                                   ANTON
                         God Damn it!

               ANTON drops the brush. As it hits the floor the lights turn
               up and ANTON is in the middle of an art gallery. Everyone is
               dressed up but him. He is feeling uncomfortable. Crowds are
               forming in front of his canvases. PHILIP walks up to him.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                          I'm sorry I tried to paint
                          something, but…

                                   PHILIP
                          Anton, These are amazing. You have
                          out done yourself. The audience
                          loves it. And I'm gonna love the
                          commission They are going to eat
                          this shit up with a spoon. I tell
                          you, you won't believe…

                ANTON walks away as PHILIP continues talking to the area
                ANTON was in. He opens a door causing the light in the
                gallery to dim. He reaches for the door.

        71     INT. TRAIN                                              71

               ANTON looks up and sees the doors are about to close. He gets
               up and runs to catch it. He gets off and the train goes down
               onto the tracks.

        72     INT. ANTON'S LOFT DAY                                   72

               YVETTE is searching around the loft very frightened. She
               picks up a box cutter off a paint easel. Behind her SHADOW
               moves into another room. YVETTE approaches the door SHADOW
               went into. 

               An elevator opens in the hallway. 

               Footsteps walking to the front door are heard. SHADOW passes
               behind her towards the painting. She turns again. The door is
               thrown open as YVETTE lunges. ANTON grabs YVETTE and wrestles
               the knife away. They fall to the Floor.

                                   ANTON
                         What the Fuck!

               ANTON looks up and walks quickly to the mural, Closing it.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         Damn YVETTE!

                                   YVETTE
                          I'm sorry… I thought I heard a
                          burglar!

                                   ANTON
                          Do you always open the curtain!

                                   YVETTE
                         What?

               She looks at the knife and goes along with ANTON.

                                   ANTON
                          I can't trust you anymore. You
                          steal from me, You lie to me,
                          You're violent! We can't even have
                          sex because you're a fucking junky!

                                   YVETTE
                         I'm sorry, It was just so
                         beautiful. I was cleaning the
                         place…

               ANTON looks around the room. He turns back surprised and less
               intimidating.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                          And the curtain got sucked up in
                          the vacuum... and I saw a little of
                          it … and I couldn't help it.

               ANTON's ego kicks in.

                                   ANTON
                         You couldn't help it?

               YVETTE walks up to ANTON. ANTON walks away. YVETTE opens the
               curtain slowly as she talks.

                                   YVETTE
                         You made me so beautiful.

                                   ANTON
                         I don't want to talk about it.

               She looks at the picture of Lilith. Then makes her way over
               to the SHADOW.

                                   YVETTE
                         What is this black figure?

                                   ANTON
                         The one at the end?

                                   YVETTE
                         Yeah, the tall black thing.

                                   ANTON
                         The ghosts that follow a woman I knew
                         …I guess.

                ANTON walks into the bathroom. YVETTE admires LILITH and
                SEVEN. She stares deeply into the painting.

                                   YVETTE
                         Who's the man I'm with?

               ANTON stops and looks up confused.

                                   ANTON
                         You're with?

               YVETTE realizes what she said.

                                   YVETTE
                         No, the couple.

                                   ANTON
                         The couple … I don't know. Must have
                         been in a dream.

               YVETTE and ANTON both are looking towards each other
               silently and suspiciously.

        73     DREAMWORLD WITH YVETTE                                  73

               YVETTE is lost at the junction of six roads, outside her
               dream world. She chooses one and walks along. Slowly she
               begins to work her way further and further from her dream
               world. In the distance, blurred colors and movement begin to
               form. Each section is an outside view of other dreams. She
               looks at one area of color. It zooms in and gets into focus.

        74     EXT. OCEAN                                              74

               YVETTE, as a mermaid is swimming in the ocean. The scene is
               very pleasant until a shadow passes over YVETTE. She looks up
               and PHILIP, as a merman, is swimming towards her at high
               speeds. He grabs her and pushes her down into the sand.

                                   PHILIP
                         What are you doing in my world?

               The ocean floor disappears and they are in a forest.

        75     EXT. FOREST. NIGHT                                      75

               YVETTE pushes him off her. She is running and screaming for
               help franticly. Her body is fading in color and becoming
               dark. PHILIP is in front of her

                                   PHILIP
                          It's not bad enough that I
                          have to hear about you all day,

                YVETTE turns to run, but PHILIP is in front of her again.

                                   PHILIP (CONT'D)
                          but now you're here too. I wonder
                          how it would be to kill you?

                YVETTE screams and runs again.

                                   PHILIP (CONT'D)
                         I'd probably wake up in a great
                         mood.

        76     INTERIOR SEVEN'S BED ROOM                               76

               Seven awakes in the late afternoon. The sunlight is coming
               through the spaces in his blinds. SEVEN sits at the edge of
               his bed. He looks at the answering machine then presses it.

                                   INSURANCE AGENT
                          Hello, This message is for Seven
                          Hidalgo. Seven we need you to sign
                          a few more papers before you can
                          receive full return on Maria
                          Hidalgo's policy. Please call us as
                          soon as possible, as I am sure you
                          want to move on with this process.
                          We apologize for the inconvenience.
                          BEEP

                                   VOICE
                          Please hang up there appears to be
                          a receiver off the hook please
                          check all extensions thank you.
                          (NOISE)

                SEVEN gets up and goes to the computer. As he goes to sit
                down he looks outside. Then looks at the computer.

        77     EXTERIOR PARK AFTERNOON                                 77

               Seven is sitting at a park bench feeding birds from a loaf of
               bread. He is wearing a knit hat and is enjoying the setting
               sun. He notices all the different types of parents in the
               park. Many different races, religions, nationalities. All the
               children are playing together, but the adults are on
               different benches. One child walks over to him.

                                   DIGGS
                          Hi, I'm Diggs. I'm seven years old.
                          Can I have some bread?

                                   SEVEN
                         Of coarse you can.

               The kid eats the bread.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Don't eat that.

                                   DIGGS
                         Why?

                                   SEVEN
                         Cause it's old.

                                   DIGGS
                         So

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh...want another piece of bread?

               He gives him more.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                          What about for your friends?

                                   DIGGS
                          They're not my friends,
                          I don't know them.

                                   SEVEN
                          Do you know the birds?

                                   DIGGS
                          No,

                                   SEVEN
                          But you like the birds and
                          want to be their friends?

                                         DIGGS
                          Yes

                                   SEVEN

                                   CHILD 1
                          Because they are pretty.

                                   SEVEN

                          something pretty inside

               While he says this to him, we close up on SEVEN'S hand giving
               a piece of bread to the little boy. The sun is glaring off
               the piece of white bread. DIGGS looks up at SEVEN and stares
               into his eyes. His eyes are dark and wide.
               He looks at him with such intent and understanding. Other
               Children come by to feed the birds.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Do you want a piece too?

                                   CHILD 2
                          Yes please! What is your name?

                                   SEVEN
                         My name is Seven.

               Slowly the children from the playground start to come over
               and feed the ever-growing amount of birds that are gathering.

                                   DIGGS
                         I don't think we have enough.

                                   SEVEN
                         We'll make it enough if you all
                         help.

               We see all the little kids sharing pieces of bread with each
               other. Some of the children have little birds landing on
               their heads and are smiling and laughing.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                          Do you know what's the same
                          between birds... and trees...
                          and people?

                                         CHILD 3
                         They all have eyes.

                                   DIGGS
                         Trees don't have eyes.

                                   CHILD 3
                          Potatoes have eyes.

                                   CHILD 2
                          We all grow up.

                                   SEVEN
                          Yes your right, but do you know
                          what we all share? We are all part
                          of life. We all share the world
                          when we're here.

                                   CHILD 3
                          That's why we recycle. My daddy
                          says we recycle so that my
                          grandchildren will have a world to
                          live in.

                                   SEVEN
                             (laughing)
                          Your daddy is right, but you know
                          what else we have to do? We have to
                          learn to be part of everything. You
                          see those birds?

                                   CHILDREN
                         Yah!

                                   SEVEN
                         They listen to the world.

                                   CHILD 3
                         Birds don't have ears.

                                   SEVEN
                         Well... They do but they also listen
                         with there insides. Do you want to
                         try?

                                   CHILDREN
                         Yes!

                                   SEVEN
                         Close your eyes. I am going to show
                         you how, but you have to listen very
                         closely.

                Seven is sitting on a bench with the kids; all with their
                eyes closed, surrounded by birds. Another kids walk into
                frame and sit down.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         First listen to the birds singing.

               We see all the kids straining to keep their eyes closed, but
               amazingly they all are quiet. Seven closes his eyes. Without
               opening his mouth he speaks to the children.

        78     EXT. FIELD DAY                                          78

                                   SEVEN
                         Now listen to the wind.

               Seven opens his eyes and sees a red balloon flying in the
               air. Still not speaking he questions them.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         What do you guys see in the wind?

                                   CHILDREN
                         A red balloon.

                                   SEVEN
                         Now you all should follow the
                         balloon. It is going to take you to a
                         field.

               With that all the children and Seven are running through a
               field of green grass. Children are playing and picking
               flowers. The first little girl is making a necklace out of
               flowers. After it is done see puts it on Seven's neck.

                                   DIGGS
                         Look I have a box.

                                   SEVEN
                         Can you open it?

                                   DIGGS
                         It's locked

                                   SEVEN
                         Look behind the box you'll find the
                         key.

                                   DIGGS
                         There is a lot of keys back here.

                                   SEVEN
                         Those are for anyone else who
                         can't open their box. Keep them in
                         yours.

                As DIGGS opens the box, inside are SEVEN and the kids in
                the field. Bubbles of light float from one to the other.
                They all open their eyes and are back in the Park.

        79     EXTERIOR PARK. AFTERNOON                                79

                All the birds fly away in a cluster of feathers. We see
                Seven's face watching, behind them.

                                   PARENT 1
                          DIGGS! Diggs get back over here!

                The child is yanked away by an angry mother.

                                   PARENT 1 (CONT'D)
                          Strangers steal little boys.
                          You don't want that do you?

                As SEVEN looks over the Mother looks at him with an angry
                glare. SEVEN laughs to himself.

        80     EXT. FORREST                                            80

               PHILIP is chasing YVETTE.

                                   PHILIP
                         I'm going to get ya.

               YVETTE picks up a log and swings her whole body into the hit.
               Half of PHILIP'S face is ripped off. He falls and looks at
               then looks at her.

                                   PHILIP (CONT'D)
                         Ouch, you bitch. Look at my face.

                                   YVETTE
                         Fuck you. You wouldn't stop chasing
                         me.

                She is fading still.

                                   PHILIP
                         You could never take a joke YVETTE.

                                   YVETTE
                         Who?

               Her body begins to solidify. PHILIP hears and alarm.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                          Philip? Where are we? How did we
                          get here?

                                   PHILIP
                         Got to go sweetie. Time to wake up.

                                   YVETTE
                         No take me with you.

               PHILIP goes through a door and disappears. His forest begins
               to disappear, leaving a black void. YVETTE is running trying
               to stay in the picture. Everything is fading into the abyss
               behind her.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Wake up, Please wake up!

               A door opens up ahead of YVETTE and she dives into it before
               the forest completely vanishes.

        81     INT. LARGE DARK ROOM                                    81

               YVETTE lands in a room surrounded by shadows of figures. THE
               WARDEN and the OLD LADY are both there, but are fading.
               Suddenly a huge long door opens casting light that spans at
               least forty feet. The more solid figures run towards it.
               Trampling the faded ones.

                                   THE WARDEN
                         Hurry they'll make you someone.

               They run through as the door begins to close. YVETTE watches
               a very faded figure that seems to be suffering. When it turns
               to YVETTE she sees it's face is a beautiful young girl, but
               the color in her body is fading away. She reaches out to
               YVETTE.

                                   FADING GIRL
                         Tell me my name...please…Do you
                         know me?

               As she says this, her face fades away, leaving her a complete
               shadowy form. YVETTE pulls back and looks at herself. She
               looks at the OLD LADY, who also is fading. She stares at her.

                                   YVETTE
                         What are you doing here?

               The OLD LADY becomes excited bringing some color back to her.

                                   OLD LADY
                         You know me?

                                   YVETTE
                         We met on the train.

                                   OLD LADY
                          Who am I? Please don't let me go
                          away!

                                   YVETTE
                          I don't know your name. I don't
                          know who you are.

                                   OLD LADY
                          Please I don't have much time
                          please, tell me about me please!
                          Just something … anything.

                She grabs at YVETTE, who recoils. The OLD LADY fades to a
                shadow. YVETTE sees herself fading as another door opens.
                She runs into it.

        82     INT. ANTON'S LOFT NIGHT                                 82

               ANTON is lying in bed YVETTE crawls into the bed.

                                   YVETTE
                         Anton… did it really bother you
                         that I looked at your painting?

               ANTON looks at YVETTE's necklace.

                                   ANTON
                         Did you like it?

                                   YVETTE
                         Very much so.

                                   ANTON
                         Then no …it didn't really bother me.
                         That's the least of our problems.

                He touches her track marks.

                                   YVETTE
                          I'm gonna stop.
                          I promise…

                ANTON stops her.

                                   ANTON
                          Don't promise.
                          Just do …I miss you.

                                   YVETTE
                         Where do these images come from?

               Knowing that she is changing the subject, he lets it
               continue.

                                   ANTON
                         Just pictures that run through my
                         head. Nothing special.

                                   YVETTE
                         Who are they?

                                   ANTON
                         Why don't you tell me?

                                   YVETTE
                         Tell you what?

                                   ANTON
                         Who they are.

                                   YVETTE
                         Do I know them?

                                   ANTON

                                   YVETTE
                         Once upon a time there was a golden
                         haired traveler. He set off on a
                         journey to escape the darkness of his
                         past. On the way he met a friend in
                         need. Together their journeys lead

                She stops speaking and looks at ANTON. She reaches over to
                him and kisses him. He pulls back and looks at her. They
                kiss passionately. They have sex in front of the painting.
                They seem to become part of the painting. As they fall
                asleep we are left looking at a picture of ANTON
                contemplating in Dreamworld.

        83     INT. DREAMWORLD ANTON                                   83

               ANTON is alone. We hear screaming in the background. ANTON'S
               MOM is a young girl about 17 years old.

                                   ANTON'S MOM
                          You should have never been born.
                          Look what you did to me. I wanted a
                          life too.

                She pulls up her shirt to show a huge c-section tearing
                open.

                                   ANTON'S DAD
                          What kind of man are you? Your
                          killing your mother. Your no son of
                          mine. Get the fuck out of here.

                ANTON holds his head and closes his eyes. He fills his
                environment with paintings that he creates, literally using
                his parents. The yelling fades away into the paintings. He
                continues to create. As the images build YVETTE fades into
                the picture. She has begun to fade more.

                                   ANTON
                          YVETTE!
                          Where have you been?

                At first she is disoriented but as he speaks to her, she
                begins to solidify.

                                   YVETTE
                          I've missed you so much.
                          Look at your hair.

                They embrace.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Please help me...I'm lost.

                                   ANTON
                         No you're not. You're in my dream
                         world.

                                   YVETTE
                         What if you wake up?

                                   ANTON
                         I'll wake you up.

                                   YVETTE
                         Promise me.

                                   ANTON
                         I promise.

                                   YVETTE
                         Say my name again.

               He looks at her lovingly.

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE.

               Their loft begins to appear around them but a very simplified
               version of it. There is a knock at the door as they turn
               YVETTE looks frightened. She sees many shadowed figures
               approaching ANTON. She warns him about them, but he doesn't
               seem bothered.

                                   YVETTE
                         Watch out Anton. They have no souls,
                         they want you.

                                   ANTON
                         No they just want to look at the
                         paintings, look there's Philip.

               ANTON looks at one that becomes PHILIP.

                                   YVETTE
                          No, Philip just woke up! He's not
                          the real Phil.

                                   PHILIP
                          These are the most amazing images
                          the art world has ever seen. Just
                          look at all your fans. We're gonna
                          be rich.

                ANTON looks at the other shadows and gives each of them a
                personality. They greet him and ask for paintings. They
                begin to take his artwork into them. They praise him, while
                stepping between him and YVETTE. She begins to fade as he
                pays more attention to the people.

                                   YVETTE
                         Anton, please look at me.

               They begin to take images faster than he can make them. His
               world is getting darker again. When the images run out they
               begin to take pieces of his loft. 

               After that THE SHADOWS turn to ANTON and closed in on him.
               Taking pieces of his body. Leaving him a head and partial
               torso. He is left alone. As he turns his head he sees YVETTE
               fading away. He closes his eyes.

        84     INT. ANTON'S LOFT NIGHT                                 84

               ANTON is sleeping. YVETTE is trying to stay awake. She hears
               a noise outside. When she goes to see what is she sees Seven
               in the hall. She starts to unlock the door slowly. When she
               turns to check on ANTON, she is standing in front of SHADOW.
               As she turns to run out the door, all light drops from the
               scene. They are in a black void running.

                                   SHADOW(IN GABRIEL'S VOICE)
                         Lilith, you have to help me.

                                   YVETTE
                         Never again Gabriel.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Hypocrite, You live just as I do!

                                   YVETTE
                         You dare compare us!

                                   GABRIEL
                          You made me what I am,Don't leave
                          me, Lilith. I've made mistakes, but
                          I need you now!

                                   YVETTE
                          You've have been with out a form
                          for a long time.
                          You look terrible.
                          Your essence will lose itself soon.

                GABRIEL corners her.

                                   GABRIEL
                          You have found him. You think he
                          can travel between worlds don't
                          you.

                                   YVETTE
                          I do not share your desires.

                                   GABRIEL
                          Lilith…We can start over in the
                          bodies of our children. The
                          children of two Seers, as strong as
                          ourselves, think about it. God
                          could only create in his image, but
                          we…we can be them! We may even be
                          able to cross between life and
                          eternity. Ascension Lilith! You can
                          finally enter eternity! Can't you
                          see? You must help me find him.

                She pauses to think for a moment.

                                   YVETTE
                          You fool yourself with these
                          dreams. We can never go back! Be
                          gone wretched demon. I will not
                          give him to you!

                A burst of energy cuts through SHADOW like swords
                dispersing him.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Noooooo!

               For a moment YVETTE becomes LILITH. ANTON wakes up in time to
               see the light fade and LILITH become YVETTE.

                                   ANTON
                         What the Fuck?

               He turns around and goes back to sleep.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         Come to bed!
                         And turn off the lights.

                                         YVETTE
                         I will Sweetie. Good night ANTON

                                   ANTON
                         Good night Lilith.

               YVETTE gets startled.

                                   YVETTE
                         What did you say?

               ANTON lies there sleeping. She looks at the painting.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Anton?

               ANTON doesn't stir.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Anton?

               She walks over to him.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Gabriel?

               She looks at the picture of SHADOW then slowly turns back to
               ANTON. She passes her hands through his hair and goes back to
               the door then walks out.

               YVETTE is walking to SEVEN'S DOOR.

        86     EXT. FIELD                                              86

               SEVEN and ANTON are walking across a field.

                                   SEVEN
                          On the news, there was a Rapist… I
                          fell asleep, when I woke to take a
                          shower… there was Lilith.

                                   ANTON
                          With you and the rapist, in the
                          shower, when you were awake?

                                   SEVEN
                          With Lilith, In the shower, With
                          the rapist, Who wasn't there. But
                          she was there, When I was
                          awake...If I was awake.

                                   ANTON
                          You need to get out of here and
                          back into your life. Have you even
                          left your apartment this month.

                                   SEVEN
                          Yeah, I met some kids in the park
                          today.

                                   ANTON

                                   SEVEN
                          I showed them this?

                                   ANTON

                There is a loud echoing knocking over the scene.

                          dream world experiences and real

                The knocking gets louder as SEVEN turns to look at the
                source.

               YVETTE is knocking on the door. SEVEN wakes up and looks
               through the peephole.

                                   YVETTE
                         Hi…I couldn't sleep and thought you
                         would be awake so…ah

               SEVEN stares at her.

               ANTON is asleep in the bed just as YVETTE left him. From the
               foot of the bed rises SHADOW.

                                   SHADOW
                         Awaken Anton your time is now.

        89     INT. SEVEN'S APT NIGHT                                  89

                                   YVETTE
                         Can I come in?

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh I'm sorry. Come in.

                He lets her in and tries to clean up a little.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                          I don't get many visitors.

               Seven goes into the fridge.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                          Do you want something to drink?

               Looking in he sees that there is nothing there.

                                   YVETTE
                          No I'm fine.

                                   SEVEN
                             (relieved)
                          I'm sorry the place is a mess.

                                   YVETTE
                          Don't worry you wouldn't
                          Believe the places I lived in.

                                         SEVEN
                          Where are you from?

                                   YVETTE
                          Ah… I guess you can say I was
                          born in what's called Israel.

                                   SEVEN

               He gets up to go back to the kitchen. YVETTE cuts him off.

               YVETTE kisses SEVEN. He is frozen. YVETTE'S nightgown falls
               to the floor. SEVEN looks at her. She climbs on to him. There
               bodies fade in and out of black, building pace. As they
               continue their essences, lift out of their bodies, embrace
               and float above them. Leaving trails of light connecting them
               to their bodies. SEVEN'S essence realizes YVETTE is LILITH.

                                   SEVEN
                         Lilith?

                                   LILITH
                         Yes my love

               His essence pulls away in fear, and then falls back into his
               body as she catches him and brings him closer. Their energies
               intermingle. The background around them shifts into a galaxy
               of stars and light. They move through them at greater speeds.
               They continue to embrace through time and space. After they
               climax they lower back into their bodies.

                                   SEVEN
                         Wow.

                                   YVETTE
                         In thousands of years, I have to say,
                         that was a first.

                                   SEVEN
                         No shit. Hey, who are you?

                                   YVETTE
                         You know who I am.

                                   SEVEN
                         No I mean who is she.

                                   YVETTE

                She touches his hand and brings it to her heart.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         I have to get going before my
                         "boyfriend" gets up.

                                   SEVEN
                         You have a boyfriend?

                                   YVETTE
                         I don't, YVETTE does though. Pays the
                         rent. He's some famous painter next
                         door.

                                   SEVEN
                         Next door to me?

                                   YVETTE
                         What's his name again? You might know
                         him. He has a painting that looks
                         just like you. What's his name again?

                SEVEN drops his head.

                                   BOTH
                         Anton.

               SEVEN looks worried.

                                   YVETTE
                         Yeah that's it, you know him?

                                   SEVEN
                         You can say that.

               She is getting up to leave.

                                   YVETTE
                         Funny he didn't mention it. Sleep
                         tight, Seven. Don't let any strangers
                         into your dreams.

                SEVEN watches her walk out.

                                   SEVEN

               He lays back and falls asleep.

        90     INT. ANTON'S LOFT DAY                                   90

               ANTON wakes up and is Dazed he sees faded images of people
               flashing around the apartment. YVETTE is not in bed next to
               him. He looks up and SHADOW zooms in close to him.

                                   SHADOW
                         I hear your cries for power and will
                         grant you immortality in return for
                         passage back.

                ANTON leaps out of bed and is looking around the room
                wildly for SHADOW who is nowhere.

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE, where are you?

                                   SHADOW
                         She's with him.

                                   ANTON
                         Who said that?

                                   SHADOW
                         I, who have given you sight.

               SHADOW fades in from the wall.

                                   ANTON
                         Stay away from me! Who are you? What
                         do you want?

                                   SHADOW
                         It isn't what I want. It is what you
                         want.

                                   ANTON
                         Are you a ghost?

                                   SHADOW
                         No, I am a shadow. My body is dead
                         and I was denied eternity. If you
                         don't want to end up like me, you
                         best heed my warning. The woman you
                         love is conspiring against you.

                ANTON looks at YVETTE empty space in bed.

                                   ANTON
                         Where is she?

        91     INT. SEVEN'S APT. NIGHT                                 91

               SHADOW and ANTON are watching YVETTE and SEVEN making love.

                                   SHADOW
                         You know him.

                                   ANTON
                         No I don't.

                                   SHADOW
                         You always did.

        92     INT. ANTON'S LOFT. DAY                                  92

               ANTON is looking up at SEVEN'S face in a mural.

                                   SHADOW
                         He fears you gaining the same power
                         as he posses. This world will hold no
                         secrets from you. Have you not asked
                         him to be awakened?

                                   ANTON
                         I don't know?

                                   SHADOW
                         Think, you remember.

               High-speed flashes of images of SEVEN and ANTON'S dream world
               fly across the screen.

                                   SHADOW (CONT'D)
                         That's it. Remember.

               ANTON looks at all the paintings as anger builds in him.

                                   ANTON
                         Show me?

                                   SHADOW
                         Yes, but I am afraid I have grown
                         week. I can do nothing from this
                         realm. I am but only an image. You
                         must provide the flesh. Immortality,
                         power, and access into the minds of
                         every man woman and child on earth,
                         could all be yours.

                                         ANTON
                         Is this a dream?

                                   SHADOW
                         Does it matter?

                                   ANTON
                         No.

               ANTON turns and speaks to SEVEN.

                                   ANTON
                         We have to find her… before it
                         happens to her.

                                   SEVEN
                         What if she is already gone?

                                   ANTON
                         What if she's not. Please, Seven.
                         Between both of us we could find her.

                SEVEN walks off. ANTON follows after a moment.

                                   SEVEN
                         When I was a kid I found an end to my
                         imagination. I must have made it
                         subconsciously, but it was there and
                         I had to go past. I must have worn
                         myself out because I was back home
                         and awake before I knew it. It was my
                         room, but things were different.

                Pictures of people in the room are featureless.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         My toys weren't my toys.

        94     INTERIOR-SEVEN'S ROOM UNDER BLANKET NIGHT               94

               SEVEN is under the blankets hiding with a flashlight. A small
               partition in the mattress emerges. Long black fingers begin
               to come out of the bed. Pulling the two sides apart. A
               strange pale red light begins to come out of the hole. It is
               followed by the head of the creature. By this point Seven's
               sheet tent has grown and seems to be supported by itself as
               opposed to Seven's body.

                                   SHADOW
                         I have waited for you a long time. I
                         see you have taken care of your
                         mother.

                Seven is frozen with fear. He cannot even move to make
                space between him and the figure that is continuing to grow
                out of the mattress.

               The shadow lays out a hand and strokes Seven's face.

                                   SEVEN
                         Go away.

                                   SHADOW
                         What was that my son?

                                   SEVEN
                         Go away.

               Seven begins to wet his pants.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Go away!

               Beams of light, dwarfing those of LILITH'S, shoot from SEVEN
               and destroy the whole room.

        95     EXT. EDGE OF SEVEN'S DREAMWORLD                         95

                                   ANTON
                         You think he is out there and he is
                         the one that wants to steal your
                         soul.

                                   SEVEN
                         How did you know that?

               ANTON Stops for a moment.

                                   ANTON
                         You can't hide much here, right.

               SEVEN looks out over DREAMWORLD.

                                   SEVEN
                         There are a few things you're going
                         to have to remember before we go.
                         This world here is based on the real
                         word and are only contained by each
                         person's imagination.

                                   ANTON
                         I'll remember that.
                         You ready?

                                   SEVEN
                         No.

                                   ANTON
                         Why?

                                   SEVEN
                         Out there, we are in everyone's,
                         anyone's dreams. You can see
                         anything.

                                   ANTON
                         They're dreams, that can't hurt us.

                                   SEVEN
                         That's just it. I don't know how they
                         will affect us. Also if some one
                         wakes up and we are caught in a
                         dream… we will also cease to exist.

                                         ANTON
                         Until we wake up.

                                   SEVEN
                         No we cease to exist.

                                   ANTON
                         Oh.

               They walk towards a door that appears for SEVEN.

                                   SEVEN
                         Still want to do this?

               ANTON walks through SEVEN follows him. They come out on a
               spiral and walk up it.

                                   ANTON (MOCKINGLY)
                         I'm proud of you.


                                   SEVEN
                         Hush Look there.

                A flash of light overtakes them. 
                                         ACT III

        96     SIX ROADS DREAM WORLD                                   96

               They appear in the middle of six roads that converge. Each
               road seems to float out into an abyss of muted colors and
               light.

                                   ANTON
                         Where to?

                                   SEVEN
                         Each one of these roads takes you
                         anywhere.

                                   ANTON
                         Should we start walking?

                                   SEVEN
                         Yeah, I guess. Let's go that way.

               As they look towards the direction pointed, the muted colors
               surround them and creates the scene.

        97     INT. CAT PEOPLE FOREST                                  97

               ANTON and SEVEN walk through a dark forest. Sitting on a
               branch is a panther. The panther growls at them.

                                   ANTON
                         Whose dream is this?

                                   SEVEN
                         Why would you think I know?

                                   ANTON
                         Well, don't you?

               SEVEN walks up ahead. Through the trees ANTON sees another
               panther.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         Look there's another one.

                                   SEVEN
                         There's a couple more over here.

               ANTON turns to see about 4 panthers.

                                   ANTON
                         Run!

               As they start running each panther runs for separate
               locations. They circle them quickly. Building speed.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         They're everywhere!

               SEVEN and ANTON look around wildly as black streaks rush by.
               One stops and begins to chase after them.

                                   SEVEN
                         Fuck!

               They take off closely followed by the panther. The others
               pick up chase. One by one they jump into the main panther
               creating a large beast. It's legs stretch as it takes on more
               human-like qualities.

                                   ANTON
                         Holy fuck, he's a person!

                                   SEVEN
                         I guess it's his dream.

                                   ANTON
                         Some help you are!

               The PANTHER MAN runs past them and blocks their paths.

                                   PANTHER MAN
                         Why are you here!

               ANTON skids ten feet away from the PANTHER MAN and turns
               back, as SEVEN leaps from the ground and sails over him.

                                   ANTON
                          What the fuck? How do I do that?

                The PANTHER MAN takes off after ANTON. SEVEN takes off
                after PANTHER MAN. ANTON is running towards a cliff.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         Help me!

               ANTON'S feet are barely touching the floor as he runs.

                                   SEVEN
                         Jump!

                                   ANTON
                         NO!

                                   SEVEN
                         Jump!

                                   ANTON
                         No!

               ANTON nears the end of the cliff and jumps off. The PANTHER
               MAN stops and looks down at the falling ANTON.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

               PANTHER MAN turns around towards SEVEN running at him full
               speed. The creature snarls and gets ready to shred SEVEN as
               he flips over the PANTHER MAN and projects into the air above
               the cliff. He's slows his momentum, sets up his stance and
               dives towards ANTON.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

               SEVEN speeds like a comet towards ANTON.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

               SEVEN slows up as he approaches ANTON.

                                   SEVEN
                         Stop screaming. There's no floor

                                   ANTON
                          Oh, ok. You sure, I thought…

                They both instantly hit the floor, cracking the pavement
                and sending a huge puff of smoke into the air. Both SEVEN
                and ANTON are out of breath and wheezing.

                                   SEVEN
                         Why did you think about the floor?

                                   ANTON
                             (gasping)
                         I can't breathe

                                   SEVEN
                         You don't have to.

                                   ANTON
                         Oh Right.

               A SHERIFF walks up and begins yelling.

                                   SHERIFF
                         Ya'll boys are trespassing here!

               A cell appears around them.

        98     INT. LIMBO JAIL DREAM WORLD                             98

               They struggle to try to get out.

                                   SHERIFF
                         That's a crime punishable by death
                         around here. I reckon We're bout
                         ready for a hanging.

                                   SEVEN
                         Listen man, I'm sorry I'm in your
                         dream. My friend and I are looking
                         for a woman..

                Women appear from all over the prison. Everywhere looks
                like a strip club except the jail cell.

                                   SHERIFF
                         Yep… we have plenty of women in here.
                         Too bad you fellas got to die and
                         all. I'll be back in a moment.

                The room zooms back leaving them floating in the sky. The
                back of the cell is open showing a beautiful Sunset over
                the ocean.

                                   ANTON
                         Where did he go? Is he waking up?

                                   SEVEN
                         He's not waking up, But I don't know
                         where he is.

                                   ANTON
                         Why are we here?

                                   SEVEN
                         He said we were trespassing.

                                   ANTON
                         How'd we get here?

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't know?

                                   ANTON
                         It's so quiet.

               They sit in silence as the sky turns from day to night,
               repeatedly. A plant sprouts up, grows up, and withers away.
               SEVEN looks at ANTON, who has aged fifty years.

                                   SEVEN
                         Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         Hello. When will they let us out?

               SEVEN is also a little dazed but still remembers his
               consciousness.

                                   SEVEN
                         I'm… I'm getting out of here.

               They are beginning to fade. He opens the jail cell and walks
               out. ANTON stays there.

                                   ANTON
                         I can't I'm here.

                                   SEVEN
                         Your Anton and you have to find
                         YVETTE!

                                   ANTON
                         Yvette… I remember YVETTE.

               He begins to think. A shadowed figure comes into the cell and
               takes the form of YVETTE, just slightly off. ANTON gets

               The YVETTE becomes a shadow again.

                                   SEVEN
                         You are Anton.

                                   ANTON

                                   SEVEN
                         Sure you do.

               They are outside on the street looking at the sky.

                                   ANTON
                         What just happened?

               They begin to solidify.

                                   SEVEN
                         Everyone left that dream, But didn't
                         wake up. Since we were there, the
                         world never ended.

                                   ANTON
                         They left the dream?

                                   SEVEN
                         I guess more people travel than we
                         thought.

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE was there!

                                   SEVEN
                         Shh, be careful what you project. You
                         want to see her you will but it might
                         not be her. She'll be herself with
                         out you.

                                   ANTON
                         Seven look!

               The clouds start to move down the block turning everything
               under it red.

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't want to see what happens
                         when that gets here. Let's go. Keep
                         me in focus.

                                   ANTON
                         Move it's coming!

       100     ORIENTAL MASSAGE PARLOR                                100

               They jump as they are engulfed in red, landing on the floor
               of an Oriental massage parlor. Beautiful Asian women come to
               pick them up.

                                   ANTON
                         Oh… thank you.

               SEVEN gets up, shyly resisting the women's advances.

                                   SEVEN
                         Oh my.

               They are placed on tables and massaged.

                                   ANTON
                         I never felt better.

                                   SEVEN
                         Hmmm.

               SEVEN and ANTON drift away. SHANTO BEGEA, a little old man
               with long hair is laying on a platform looking over at the
               two.

                                   SHANTO
                         You like it here, I see you do.

               ANTON and SEVEN look around.

                                   ANTON
                         Yes very much.

                                   SEVEN
                         I hope we aren't intruding.

                                   SHANTO
                         No, I love friendly visitors, when
                         their friendly.

                                   ANTON
                         Thank you, we are…umm.

                                   SHANTO
                         Here to help free our people, of
                         course you are, you are! I have been
                         expecting you and you.

                                   SEVEN
                         You have?

                                   SHANTO
                         We all have, but I must say… You two
                         aren't doing to well right now,or
                         then.

                                         ANTON
                         What do you mean?

                                   SHANTO
                         What's your name, and who are you?

                They don't remember and are watching the women.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          SEVEN, you and ANTON too, you will
                          have to do better before you
                          continue.

                Dark rings form around the women's eyes. Their bodies
                swell. They begin to grow. Their hair falls from their
                heads. The bald women pound on ANTON and SEVEN. SHANTO
                laughs uncontrollably. SEVEN and ANTON jump on to the
                rafters of the building.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                         Good.

               They leap towards SHANTO. The lights go out.

        101     WAREHOUSE. FOREST                                     101

                They end up in an abandoned warehouse with a forest in it.
                The entire sky is red. SEVEN is hit to the floor.

                                   SEVEN
                         Ah!

                                   ANTON
                         What happened?

               Anton is hit from behind.

                                   SEVEN
                          Concentrate Anton, Look out!

                Flashes of movement from the trees beat the two repeatedly.
                They are flung across the room.

                                   ANTON
                         SEVEN, Look there!

               He is hit again.

                                   SEVEN
                         What was it?

                                   ANTON
                         I don't know, I don't know!

               They are both thrown back against the far wall. 

               In front of them is a slit of moonlight shining on to the
               ground on to foliage. Two women appear in front of them. One
               raises out of the shadows the other crystallizes in the light
               beside. 

               The two women stand there, then expand two gigantic wings on
               each of them. THE TWIN DRAGONS, SAPPHIRE and ONYX appear in
               front of them. They both are on the defensive and are looking
               the boys over.

                                   SAPPHIRE
                          I am SAPPHIRE this is ONYX, This is
                          our world. Why are you here?

                                         SEVEN
                         We are looking for a lost essence.

                                   ANTON
                         We're friends.

                                   ONYX
                         He lies.

               She disappears into the shadow and SEVEN is thrown into the
               air with blinding speed. ONYX coming out of the shadows,
               catches up to him, spins and kicks him to the ground. She
               then soars upward and nosedives at SEVEN.

                                   ANTON
                         Seven!

               He takes off to help SEVEN. Behind him in the distance
               SAPPHIRE is running towards ANTON. Her wings expand as she
               flies up behind him, lifting him up, past seven and slamming
               him into a wall. 

               SEVEN is stirring as ONYX closes in on him screaming. As she
               goes to claw him SEVEN trails himself backwards, leaving a
               fading image of himself where he was. 

               He grabs her legs as she rounds upwards. Then continuing the
               movement, brings her to the ground from over his head. She
               gets up and punches SEVEN several times.

               SAPPHIRE drops to a stance in front of ANTON, who is
               struggling to get up.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                         Fucking flying bitch!

               She sends a beam of energy towards him. It penetrates his
               entire body. SAPPHIRE releases her stance and sits staring at
               him and licks her lips. ANTON runs towards her to attack. He
               falls to the ground in pain before he reaches her. His hand
               begins to catch on fire. He puts it out with his coat. Other
               parts of his body begin to burn from the inside out. He is
               engulfed.

                                   ANTON (CONT'D)
                          Ahhh! No! Stop it Please, Ahh!

                ANTON is burning away. His skin is charring before his
                eyes. Everything except his eyes is blackened and peeling
                away.

                                   SEVEN
                         Anton no!

               SAPPHIRE begins to crawl like a cat towards ANTON licking her
               lips. She breaths fire from her mouth. Her tail is wagging
               back and forth. 

               SEVEN is underneath ONYX trying to struggle free to ANTON,
               whose body is charring away. ONYX grabs him by the back of
               the head and slams his face into the ground, breaking his
               nose. She does this again and again and lifts his head for a
               final try. 

               SEVEN is badly hurt and does not seem to be conscious. She
               pushes his head down again but it goes through the ground
               into a shadow. SEVEN pulls himself completely through the
               shadow. ONYX comes up empty handed. She dives in after him
               and is quickly thrown back into the air and on to the floor.

               SAPPHIRE is licking ANTON'S smoking body. ANTON'S eyes are
               still fresh and wet. They begin to fill with the energy that
               first hit him. ANTON gets up and grabs the dragon's tongue.
               His eyes are glowing brightly.

                                   ANTON
                         You ain't eating me bitch!

               ANTON wipes the burnt skin off of his face revealing his skin
               illuminated under it. SAPPHIRE backs away into the air. ONYX
               joins her. ANTON is glowing as SEVEN raises out of the
               shadows.

                                   SEVEN
                         It's nice to see you, Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         Nice to be seen SEVEN. As we said
                         before we are looking for a lost
                         essence. Can you help us?

                                         ONYX
                         You will not take our souls!

               They fly towards ANTON and SEVEN who prepare.

               The four converge in a flurry of exchanges, which brings ONYX
               and SEVEN in and out of shadows. 

               ANTON and SAPPHIRE bodies are bending through light. They
               circle the room at blinding speeds until they are all in the
               center of the room, arms interlocked aggressively. The
               cameras spins from ANTON and SEVEN, to SAPPHIRE and ONYX then
               again to ANTON and SEVEN, then to ANTON and SEVEN, then to no
               one, and finally back to ANTON and SEVEN.

                                   ANTON
                         Where'd they go?

               Spinning wildly.

                                   SEVEN
                         They were us.

                                   SHANTO
                         Yes, they were you. Well, you were
                         them, Weren't you? Come, come with
                         me.

                                         ANTON
                         Where!

                                   SHANTO
                         Not here, over there.

        102     EXT. CLIFF DAY                                        102

               They approach a cliff and look over.

                                   SEVEN
                         Let's go.

                As they walk closer to the edge they see all the great
                cities combined into one. Atlantis, Rome, NY, Paris,
                Ancient Greece. They look down to the shore and see a topaz
                colored city floating in the water. Above them hovering is
                a great city, with buildings that are built downwards. 

                                   SHANTO
                          Amazed aren't you?

                                   SEVEN
                         I am.

               The sky swirls with cloud-like images of people flying and
               dancing through the air.

                                   SHANTO
                          We like to call it sleeping city.
                          Sleeping city, You shall call it.
                          All here sleep in your world,
                          Forever-asleep there, Forever freed
                          to live here.

                                   SEVEN
                          You don't fade?

                                   SHANTO
                          We aren't running from ourselves.
                          There is not a left body.

                SHANTO fades away but his voice is everywhere.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          Your body will not function without
                          your essence. When the body is
                          without it's essence, it is open to
                          possession. Without your essence it
                          will lose your consciousness.

                The space goes black.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          You must return to your body or you
                          will grow weak. In eternity our
                          essence moves without physical
                          limitations, as thought and light.

                Flashes of light rush the screen. Quick flashes of earthly
                things, plants, trees, people, animals, mountains, etc.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          Remembering only what you learned
                          out there, you only know what's
                          real to your senses.

                                   ANTON
                          So we limit our sight to what we
                          think we should see?

                                   SHANTO
                          That's just it boy, you have no
                          eyes here. You have no body here.
                          You are here.

       103     EXT. SNOW COVERED FIELD. DAY                           103

               A bird soars above the trees. SHONTO'S voice is heard off
               screen.

                                   SHANTO
                          Because it cannot return to
                          eternity, your essence here will be
                          saddened. It is so close, but
                          cannot make the journey as it is
                          used to.

               Two moving dots appear in the distance. As the camera pans in
               we see they are two wolves running in the snow.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          An essence will grow bitter as it
                          remembers eternity. The knowledge
                          of all that is and has been, will
                          be too much to relate to life's
                          rules.

               Heavy snow falls on the wolves making the journey difficult.

                                   SHANTO (CONT'D)
                          It will forget the choice it made
                          for life. How much it wanted to be
                          born again into this world. It will
                          forget why it sent it self to this
                          life, until it is awakened.

                A faint beeping starts to build.

                                   ANTON
                         He's waking up!

                                   SEVEN
                         Look there!

       104     INT. TUNNEL DREAMWORLD                                 104

               They run through a tunnel as trains zoom by.

                                   ANTON
                         Jump!

               A train is rushing towards them. They quickly jump onto the
               train, leaping from car to car. They move with ease over the
               train. Stopping on the last car they look ahead. YVETTE is
               one of the people on the train, under them. SEVEN and ANTON
               both spot a ladder coming out of the ceiling. They both jump
               for it and climb up. ANTON looks at the train rushing away.
               SEVEN climbs up.

       105     EXT. TUNNEL STREET EXIT DREAMWORLD                     105

               SEVEN and ANTON climb up to what looks like an eclipse. SEVEN
               reaches into the center pushing it upwards. Bright light
               shines through the growing space. They climb up. SEVEN
               emerges surrounded by cops.

                                   COP 1
                         Get up here!

                                   ANTON
                         I'd rather deal with the dragons
                         than the pigs.

                                   COP 1
                         Real easy like! Let's make no
                         trouble.

                                   SEVEN
                         Try not to hurt them.

               They raise their hands slowly above their heads. Suddenly one
               cop shoots, all follow. 

               SEVEN and ANTON try to shield themselves from the bullets.
               Dozens of bullets pierce their body. They fall to the floor.
               An alarm goes off, and a door of light appears.

               The first cop who shot, walks through the door. All other
               cops turn into shadows. One of the shadows run into the door
               of the FIRST COP and is disintegrated. The others run for
               another door that appears on the other end.

               SEVEN and ANTON are lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
               SEVEN tries to move. He sees the shadows running for the
               door.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Anton we have to get up.

                                   ANTON
                         I'm dying.

                                   SEVEN
                         Don't believe it, get up!

                                   ANTON
                         It hurts!

                                   SEVEN
                         No, It doesn't…Ahh!

               SEVEN is struggling with the pain then stands to his feet and
               begins to move ANTON.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Anton, we will die here. For real!

               ANTON, who sees the second door slowly closing starts to
               remember and gets himself to his feet fast enough to run for
               it. They slide under the door in time.

       106     INT. SHADOW ROOM                                       106

                                   ANTON
                         Where are we?

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't know.

               They are in a room of hundreds of shadow people. They are
               surrounded on all sides. Shadows muddled by them. ANTON and
               SEVEN begin to walk through the crowd.

                                   ANTON
                         Who are they?

                                   SEVEN
                         I think… they are all the dream
                         shadows.

                                   ANTON
                         Who?

                                   SEVEN
                         Everyone who has lost their way
                         back to their dream world.

                                   ANTON
                         Maybe YVETTE is here?

                                   SEVEN
                         The question is which one.

               ANTON looks over the crowd. Every shadow he looks at becomes
               a different image of YVETTE. They all grab at him demanding
               that he name them.

                                   ANTON
                         Get away from me!

                                   SEVEN
                         These people will take the image of
                         anyone you want them to be.

                                   ANTON
                         Then how can I find her?

               ANTON slides to the floor. A commotion begins as doors open
               along the edge of the space. SEVEN and ANTON are beginning to
               fade away.

                                   SEVEN
                         We have to get away. I'm sorry Anton.
                         If we don't get back we will also be
                         like them.

                                   ANTON
                         It doesn't matter. I don't want to go
                         back.

                                   SEVEN
                         You have to.

                                   ANTON
                         Why, to go back to a stranger and
                         keep living an empty life with out
                         YVETTE, with Lilith?

                                   SEVEN
                         We have to. Maybe we can go back and
                         I can convince Lilith to leave
                         YVETTE's body. Then we can try to
                         find her from inside her own mind.

               ANTON is beginning to fade faster than SEVEN.

                                   ANTON
                         You said it yourself, even if we get
                         Lilith out of YVETTE, there's no
                         guarantee we'll find her. Especially
                         not here. Look around she can be any
                         of them.

               Another door raises as another group runs through. One shadow
               remains.

                                   SEVEN
                         Anton, get up! Your fading, keep
                         your energy up.

                                   YVETTE
                         Anton…Anton.

               A shadow crawls by SEVEN and grabs ANTON.

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE?

                                   SEVEN
                         Don't do it Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         It is you.

               YVETTE begins to fade in.

                                   SEVEN
                         It's an illusion.

                                   ANTON
                         It is you, isn't it?

               SEVEN and ANTON continue fading.

                                   YVETTE
                         ANTON is it you? Who am I?

               She begins to solidify. ANTON begins to solidify. SEVEN
               realizes it is YVETTE.

                                   SEVEN
                         It's her.

                                   ANTON
                         It is.

                                   YVETTE
                         Who am I?

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE.

                                   SEVEN
                         Hurry!

               The room begins to darken. The doorway of light is closing.

                                   YVETTE
                         We'll never make it.

                                   SEVEN
                         Run!

               They all run but the door closes.

                                   ANTON
                         Fuck!

                                   YVETTE
                         What's happening?

                                   ANTON
                         What ever it is I am not losing you
                         again.

               SEVEN is standing in front of the door. He begins to fight
               and kick against the wall. As his intensity grows so does the
               energy that comes off him. Sparks are now coming from his
               hits illuminating the room momentarily. Finally he jumps back
               and throws a huge blast from his hands that look like a
               sunspot. It decimates SEVEN and he is thrown across the room.

                                   SEVEN
                         I can't. I can't do it.

               ANTON is over him smiling and extending and arm. His face is
               bright and illuminated.

                                   ANTON
                         I'm here.

               When SEVEN grabs his arm he too begins to glow again. The two
               stand in front of the door. The two power up and are getting
               ready to blast the door when YVETTE walks in front of it and
               stops them.

                                   YVETTE
                         No! You'll kill us!

               She lifts the door up effortlessly.

       107     EXT SPIRAL.                                            107

               We are on the spiral from the beginning.

                                   YVETTE
                         Whose dream is this?

                                   SEVEN
                         This is everyone's dreams.

                                   ANTON
                         This is the jump off point. How did
                         we get here?

                                   YVETTE
                         How do you know?

                                   ANTON
                         Long story.

                                   SEVEN
                         We have to leave someone's dream
                         world to get here. We weren't in
                         anyone's dream.

               A door opens sending light across the black.

                                   ANTON
                         YVETTE?

                                   SEVEN
                         Were we in her dream world?

                                   YVETTE
                         No this isn't my dream.

               YVETTE leads ANTON and SEVEN down the spiral. She stops in
               front of YVETTE'S dream world door.

                                   YVETTE
                         I remember this is my door.

               YVETTE walks towards her door.

                                   SEVEN
                         Look this is mine.

               SEVEN'S door way is behind them.

                                   YVETTE
                         How did we get here?

                                   SEVEN
                         Where are we?

                                   YVETTE
                         This is where I started The woman in
                         there stole my life.

                                   ANTON
                         This is my dream, Isn't it Seven?

                                   SEVEN
                         When did we come in?

                                   ANTON
                         We never left.

                                   SEVEN
                         Why are you still fading?

                                   ANTON
                         Because you're trying to possess
                         me!

                                   SEVEN
                         No, what are you talking about.

                                   ANTON
                         Why else wont you fade?

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't know why.

                                   ANTON
                         Don't try to trick me! This was their
                         plan Yvette.

                                   SEVEN
                         What?

                                   YVETTE
                         What do you mean Anton?

                                   ANTON
                         He and Lilith want to kill us and
                         live as us.

                                   SEVEN
                         No, that's not true.

                                   ANTON
                         Then help me to kill Lilith, Seven.

                                   SEVEN
                          No, you cannot kill her. We must
                         reach her. Help her to save her soul.

                                   ANTON
                         Your good you almost had me fooled
                         but I see why you're here.

                                   SEVEN
                         I was here to help you find Yvette
                         not kill Lilith! Trust me, I have
                         always been your friend.

                                   ANTON
                         Have you? How long have we known each
                         other?

                                   SEVEN
                         Always.

                                   ANTON
                         How were you in my dreams anyway?

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't know. We were friends.

                                   ANTON
                         How come I don't remember letting
                         you in.

                                   SEVEN
                         Traveling has weakened you. Look
                         you're fading. Your soul is weak. You
                         must center yourself or you'll become
                         a shadow.

                                   ANTON
                         I can't be a shadow in my own mind!

                                   SEVEN
                         I don't know why your fading.

                                   ANTON
                         Why wouldn't you reach me in the
                         real world?

                                   SEVEN
                         You know I couldn't wake you. You
                         would have rejected it.

                                   ANTON
                         Liar! You and Lilith are trying to
                         take our souls.

               SEVEN is taken aback.

                                   SEVEN
                         No Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         Ahhh!

               ANTON is going through convulsions and falls to the floor.
               THE ETERNITY DOOR opens up for ANTON who is dying. GABRIEL,
               who has been hiding inside ANTON, takes SEVEN'S confusion as
               and opportunity to attack. GABRIEL jumps out of ANTON then
               flings ANTON'S limp body across the area as he runs towards
               SEVEN with blinding speed.

                                   SEVEN
                         No!

               GABRIEL tackles SEVEN sending both of them flying backwards,
               digging into the ground.

                                   GABRIEL
                          I have waited an eternity for this
                          my son.

       109     INT. MARIA'S APARTMENT NIGHT                           109


               The phone rings.

                                   MARIA
                          Hey hi mom...Yes I am alone. Yes
                          I'm doing my work. I'll see you
                          when you come home. Bye Mom.

               The wind picks up and begins to howl violently. The curtains
               on the window begin to move.

               Maria is frozen, looking at the window. A soft lavender light
               begins to shine outside. First very slowly and then
               developing into a flood of overwhelming light that doesn't
               come into the house.

               GABRIEL appears at the window. The light slowly comes through
               the window and down the wall and across the floor like a
               carpet unrolling. He climbs through with an unsettling
               perfection.

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          Holy shit! Stop don't kill me
                          please. Please! Help! Help me! Take
                          anything just don't kill me.

               She starts to sob and run across the room.

                                   MARIA (CONT'D)
                          What are you! What do you want!
                          Please go away.

               She is throwing things at him.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Do not fear me child. I bring you
                         redemption.

                                   MARIA
                         Don't kill me, please.

               This time when he speaks he does not open his mouth. The
               words are heard in her head. She looks over at a picture of
               Jesus. Gabriel's eyes follow hers and also sees the picture.
               He looks back at her. His voice is the most soothing divine
               sound.

                                   GABRIEL
                         I am Gabriel. I am a messenger from
                         God. The world waits for the seed I
                         bring you.

               He goes to touch her.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         You will name him Seven.

       110     SEVEN'S DREAM WORLD BATTLE CONTINUES.                  110

                                   GABRIEL
                         How is old mom?

               SEVEN is enraged by this and explodes. GABRIEL, ANTON, and
               YVETTE are blown towards the eternity door.

               YVETTE runs to ANTON and tries to get him up before he fully
               fades into a shadow.

                                   ANTON
                         Stay with me.

               YVETTE tries dragging ANTON towards her door.

               SEVEN moves towards GABRIEL and kicks him also sending him
               flying. SEVEN grabs GABRIEL'S throat.

                                   SEVEN
                         I will kill you!

                                   GABRIEL
                         Throw me through your friend's only
                         passage to eternity and condemn his
                         soul to limbo or kill me here and
                         wonder if I really died or am I
                         waiting to come back through your
                         door.

               SEVEN looks towards his door for a moment and GABRIEL is able
               to pierce SEVEN'S shoulder with SHADOW'S fingers.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         I would have thrown me.

               SEVEN looks up at GABRIEL who is partially SHADOW.

                                   SEVEN
                         I know.

               GABRIEL and SEVEN struggle for SEVEN'S doorway fighting every
               step of the way.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Your life was meant only to be
                         mine.

                                   SEVEN
                         My life will always be mine!

               SEVEN punches GABRIEL and hits his body with both hands ,
               sending Gabriel flying.  SEVEN stands and catches his breath
               in time to see YVETTE trying to drag ANTON towards her door.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         YVETTE watch out.!

               YVETTE looks up and is hit with a burst of energy that sends
               ANTON and YVETTE both flying towards THE ETERNITY DOOR.
               LILITH is standing at YVETTE'S doorway.

                                   LILITH
                         Seven go back now!

                                   SEVEN
                         Lilith save them!

               From inside the eternity door a silhouetted figure grabs
               ANTON.

                                   YVETTE
                         Get off of him!

               She tries to kick the man and he goes back inside. Suddenly
               three figures come out and are grabbing at YVETTE and ANTON.

                                   SEVEN
                         Lilith!

                                   LILITH
                          Forget those fools get into your
                          mind. He will kill you out here!

               SEVEN and GABRIEL are struggling for entrance into SEVEN'S
               door.

                                   GABRIEL
                         She's right you know your fading. You
                         should have chosen your friends more
                         carefully. It didn't take much to get
                         him to betray you.

                                   SEVEN
                         You tricked him.

                                   GABRIEL
                         His free will brought me here and
                         his free will will kill you all.

                                   SEVEN
                         Then so be it!

               SEVEN lets GABRIEL fall and runs towards YVETTE and ANTON.

                                   LILITH
                         No!

               ANTON is mostly into eternity. YVETTE is losing her grip.
               GABRIEL gets up and is running towards SEVEN'S door.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Fool.

               A fourth figure comes in and grabs YVETTE and now they are
               all going into eternity. SEVEN dives for them and is almost
               completely gone.

               GABRIEL stops and turns to look. ANTON is motionless as SEVEN
               pulls the two out of eternity. The door closes.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         It's true.

                                   LILITH
                         Seven, don't go through!

               Gabriel turns to go into SEVEN'S door and LILITH is standing
               there. She blasts him away from her. The blast causes GABRIEL
               to shift between the SHADOW and his human form.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                          I warned you. Leave him alone!

               She is pummeling him with hits without moving a muscle.
               Meanwhile ANTON is coming to.

                                   ANTON
                         I'm sorry.

                                   SEVEN
                         Get away while you can.

                                   YVETTE
                         Thank you.

                                   SEVEN
                         Hurry.

               The two run into YVETTE door. LILITH sends a huge beam of
               energy towards them.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         Run!

               SEVEN steps in front of the beam as the two fall into the
               door. SEVEN is hit full blast and falls. The ETERNITY DOOR
               opens again.

                                   LILITH
                         Seven!

               LILITH is distracted enough to have GABRIEL blast her. He
               grabs her by the neck.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Remember this!

               He raises her up ten stories into the air.

                                   LILITH
                         Please.

                                   GABRIEL
                         Sad, seems you finally found love.
                         Only to find it's pain.

               GABRIEL then drops her to the ground with all his force. She
               lands next to the almost dead SEVEN.
               She can barely move, but stretches to reach SEVEN'S hand.
               GABRIEL walks up and crushes her fingers. He turns his hand
               into SHADOWS long spiked figures. He lifts LILITH and holds
               her in front of the eternity door as he prepares to stab her
               through the heart.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         Good-bye Lilith. . I'll send him
                         shortly.

               SEVEN gets up and tackles GABRIEL, pushing LILITH out of the
               way sending himself and GABRIEL into eternity.

                                   GABRIEL (CONT'D)
                         No!

               LILITH tries to raise herself off the ground. Tears running
               from her face.

                                   LILITH
                         No…don't leave me!

               THE ETERNITY DOOR closes.

               The lights go out leaving LILITH alone in the dark. She walks
               towards SEVEN'S door. Standing there she wipes her tears and
               walks in.

                                                            FADE TO BLACK.

               YVETTE wakes up and sees ANTON seemingly dead.

                                   YVETTE
                          Anton…
                          Wake up Anton!
                          Wake up!

               She tries to wake him and cannot, but can hear him inside her
               head

                                   ANTON
                         I'm up!

               His body doesn't move.

                                   YVETTE
                         Anton.

                                   ANTON
                         Where are you?

               YVETTE walks to the mirror. In the mirror she can see his
               face in hers. She gets frightened and moves back.

                                   YVETTE
                         God damn it let me wake up.

               Anton astral projects himself out of her body and into his
               own. YVETTE crawls over the bed slowly not knowing what she
               just saw. Softly she wakes him.

                                   YVETTE (CONT'D)
                         Anton is that you?

                                   ANTON
                         Only if you're Yvette.

               They smile and kiss. ANTON jumps up quickly.

                                   YVETTE
                         What?

                                   ANTON
                         Where's SEVEN?

       111     INT. SEVEN'S APT                                       111

               LILITH awakens in SEVEN'S body. She walks over to the mirror
               and begins to cry.

                                   SEVEN
                          I am sorry Seven. My love.

               LILITH lies back on the bed. SEVEN'S body falls before
               LILITH'S essence does. She cries herself back to sleep.

       112     DREAMWORLD                                             112

               LILITH awakes and is back at the spiral. She closes SEVEN'S
               door and locks it. The eternity door opens. She can feel the
               light on her back. As she turns she  throws the key into
               eternity and cries. Slowly she steps toward the eternity
               door.

                                   LILITH
                          I do not deserve to go back, but I
                          don't have the right to continue.
                          Please take back my soul.

               She can see a figure coming out to get her. LILITH closes her
               eyes and drops her head.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                         Thank you.

                                   SEVEN
                         Don't hang your head.

               LILITH looks up to see SEVEN come out to greet her.

                                   LILITH
                         It is true.

                                   SEVEN
                         You always knew.

                                   LILITH
                         What will happen when I go back?

                                   SEVEN
                          You don't have to.
                          We will both live here together in
                          my world.
                          We can share eternity like you
                          always wanted.

                                   LILITH
                          You must live, Seven.
                          I have lived far past my days.
                          You are here for a reason you must
                          find it.

               SEVEN'S door unlocks.

                                   SEVEN
                         No, I came all the way back for
                         you.

                                   LILITH
                          And you found me.
                          We have eternity, live your life.
                          You are my love my Seven.

               She smiles, kisses him and then pushes herself  into
               eternity.

                                   LILITH (CONT'D)
                         Thank you my love.

               SEVEN is left alone looking at the key in his hand. All
               lights fade out.

       113     EXT. PARK DAY                                          113

               ANTON is painting a mural of SEVEN and LILITH and the
               adventures in dream world. YVETTE is under him playing guitar
               in the park to their child. SEVEN walks by trying not to be
               seen. ANTON looks over as YVETTE grabs SEVEN'S hand and
               smiles then hugs him.

                                   SEVEN
                         Awh you caught me.

               Her daughter also runs up. SEVEN turns and picks her up as if
               he knows her.

                                   SEVEN (CONT'D)
                         And how are you little one.

               SEVEN looks up at ANTON and smiles.

                                   ANTON
                         It's good to see you.

                                   SEVEN
                          It's good to be seen.
                          Thank you for the chain Yvette, It
                          meant a lot to me.

                                   YVETTE
                         It wouldn't have been right to keep
                         it.

                                   ANTON
                         Where are you coming from?

                                   SEVEN
                         I was visiting a friend in the
                         hospital, but was hoping you three
                         would join me for dinner tonight.

                                   YVETTE
                         We would love to.

               The group smiles and continues to speak as we pull out of the
               park.

       114     INT. HOSPITAL DAY                                      114

               We are entering a hospital room with coma patients. The last
               woman in the bed is THE OLD LADY wearing LILITH'S chain. As
               we look at her she wakes up  and stares into the camera. Her
               eyes fill with black SHADOW matter as GABRIEL'S laughter is
               heard over the screen.
